The script must be great then if its the case. But great scripts require even better performances. And thats where this can tank. Both Sid and Kat are extremly poor actors.

They should have gone with at-least one who can act. The pair here has disaster written over it. And if you put that factor with a great script, things get even worse.

okay akshay kumar is definitely a good actor...i've noticed that kjo is strategically giving sid films where there's a stronger co-star so they can shoulder most of the responsibility and not entirely dependent on his performance!

Brothers is only the second film KJo has given him. I don't think when they got SOTY anyone new that Varun would be a good actor and Alia didn't have anything to do in that movie. Nor do I think anyone realized Ritesh would surprise as much as he did when he was signed for Ek Villain. Regardless, I don't think Sid is as bad of an actor as people make him out to be. And he managed pretty well in scenes with Shraddha even when she was at her grating best.
