As the team continues to trek, Arjun again sneaks towards a large serac trying to show off and to everyone's shock the serac crumbles and collapses falling right towards a running Aakaash and Arjun.
Back in the base camp Khanna is still perplexed about the malfunctioning of his system and he calls his tech wizard son to help him probe further into it. Anjali calls Maithili while she still is with Vidhaan. Maithili tells her that it is not right to keep Vidhaan in the dark if she is in love with Aakaash.
Anjali decides that it is time to make her own decisions and soon she emerges from her tent in complete mountaineering gear looking straight ahead at the Khumbu glacier.As the team crosses the 9th crevasse, a low rumbling sound is heard followed by a big movement in the glacier and everybody is thrown off ground.
Reacting to this loud sound base camp tries to get in touch with the rescue team but there is no response. The glacier movement also throws Anjali off balance as she dangerously moves towards a crevasse on Khumbu.
Nima who is the last one trying to cross the ladder sits down to maintain his balance as the bridge sways wildly,Abhyankar and all the sherpas keep motivating Nima to get up and cross the crevasse but he is completely frozen there.They all shout to get a response from Nima but moments later Pasang sees a streak of blood on the wall and there fears come true, Nima is dead.
The team is devastated as Abhyankar updates Khanna about the loss of Nima. Anjali breaksdown when she hears about Nima's death from Aakaash. Will Anjali change her decision and go back ? Can she fulfil her dream ?
