Episode begins with Khushi sneaking back into her house at night, trying to make as little noise as possible so as not to draw attention to herself, especially from that absolute tyrant Bua…😕but just as she thinks she's made her way in without being noticed, she finds a reception committee in the form of an extremely severe looking Bua glaring at her while Rohit sits on the sofa indifferently perusing a newspaper…she walks up to the fuming Bua cautiously, taking care to stand beyond her reach, almost as though she expects Bua to whack her or something…at any rate, I don't blame her…that Bua looked nothing short of mutinous when she demanded why she's so late…Khushi fumbles and stutters, finally managing to say that she had gone to pay the electricity bill, and since there was so long a line, she couldn't make it home on time…Bua, however looks only partially convinced, saying that as far as electricity bills are concerned, even she's paid many back in Bijnaur…so Khushi can't get away with an excuse as lame as that…why doesn't she just admit that she found a kamchor like herself there, and got so engrossed in chatting her up that she forgot that she has chores to get back to…Rohit looks on, and the images of her meeting with Roshan flash across his mind…his expression hardens even further, as Bua continues to snarl at Khushi…she says - get back in the kitchen now – I hope you remember the way girl…poor Rohit's been sitting hungry for so long…😕…jees woman, what was wrong with your hands if your dear nephew was so hungry…?!! you could have fixed him up something…but no…how could you possibly do that…😡 without first completing your daily dose of spitting venom at Khushi, no task of yours can find fruition can it? Yeesh…😡anyway, just as Khushi's about to go into the kitchen, Rohit gets up and declares that his hunger's suddenly evaporated…and with that, he gets up, goes into his room, and shuts the door in their faces despite both their protests…and as usual, Bua never misses a single chance of digging her claws into Khushi, and blames it all on her, demanding why she came back here in the first place, to torment all of them like this…😡dude, try cleaning the floor spotless twice a day, carrying out household chores, looking for a job, cooking all three meals, and that too with a crazy old hag breathing down your neck…then you'll know what torment really is…bleargh…😡
Back at Parashar house, Saumya arrives in his room to find Pari scribbling something on a card in her hand…she tries to hide it when she notices him coming in, but when he asks her what she's hiding, she hands him a cute little 'Thank You' card for all his efforts towards Jitisha's welfare…😊he protests saying that there's no need to thank him…he'll do whatever Pari asks him to, coz she means so much to him…😳so where does the thank you part come in? Pari smiles gratefully, and affectionately says – Saumya, aap kitne ache hain…mere liye itna kuch karte hain…fine then…now, I'll do whatever you tell me to do…😳…Saumya looks at her and mischieviously says – anything? Are you sure Pari? Coz that means I can ask you to do anything I wish…😉Pari begins to blush, and says that she stands by her promise…Saumya takes her hand in his, and says – ok then Pari…here's what I want you to do…I want you to take these hands of yours, and……after a pause, Pari asks him what he wants her to do, and he completes his sentence saying - …and feed me some food man, I'm just soo hungry…!!😆 She looks at him, surprised, and gives him a wide smile in return for his equally wide and mischievious grin, when he asks her what else was she expecting him to ask of her…😉she lightly hits him on his arm, and leaves him looking lovingly after her…😳
The next morning, Pari's in the kitchen with Nirmala, adding final touches to her preparations for Rakhi…they're both enjoying cooking the food, and Nirmala says that she knows that Aditya loves kheer made by Pari, doesn't he? And Pari says that all he needs is something sweet, and he'll find nothing short of bliss flowing out of life…😆Nirmala smiles and nostalgically remembers how her brothers would come to her place in Bhawnagar…Pari's expression also saddens a bit when she says that she wishes Sameer was here too…believe me woman, it's good riddance…he probably wouldn't let you come near a foot of himself, disgusted with that Rakhi thali in your hand…🤢…Pari says that Aditya and Ishana are going to Khushi's house first, since she's the youngest sister, and will probably throw a tantrum if they don't indulge her first…😊just as they're chatting, Chameli comes in, and notices how Nirmala's affection flows ceaselessly in Pari's direction…but how does she care…all she's interested in is the food, and the flavour rising from it and reaching her nose, making her drool all over the place…she takes one last whiff of the scent, and leaves in a state of sweet delirium…😆
At the Mehra residence, Khsuhi's preparing for the same thing…she's also quite nervous, lest Aditya and Ishana should sense something of the hateful vibes arising out of all quarters in this house…😕just then, the bell rings, and she rushes to the door to welcome Aditya and Ishana in…they settle down on the sofa, and Aditya asks where Rohit is…Khushi's expression droops momentarily, but immense relief sweeps over her face, as Rohit arrives with a cheery "main yahaan hoon, bhai…"😊 and comes to greet them affectionately…he sits down with them and says to Aditya that even if it is on the pretext of seeing his sister, at least he paid them a visit and gave them an opportunity to do his khatirdari to the fullest…they get on with the ceremony, and when Aditya tastes the mithai, he likes it so much that he asks Rohit where they bought it…but Khushi tells them that she's made it herself, and they're both pleasantly surprised…😛Ishana tastes it too, and loves it…and keeping up the act, even Rohit tastes a bit and appreciates it, though with how much honesty, I can't say…coz eventhough his manner is cheerful and his demeanour warm, there's still a certain coldness in his eyes when he meets Khushi's glance…he also tells them that this is nothing – the entire spread that's been laid for breakfast has been prepared by her…both Aditya and Ishana express their delight at such a changed vision of their sister…and Rohit adds on by saying that Khushi's the model of a perfect housewife…Khushi looks so happy at hearing this that it seems as though this is all that she could ever have asked for on this auspicious day...😊
Back at Parashar house, Pari's waiting in anticipation of Aditya's arrival, setting up everything on the sitting area of the main hall, while Dadaji, Nirmala and Sanjay are gathered around it…😊Saumya comes down the stairs looking really cute in a dark pink kurta, and says – bhai aa raha hai, to itna raub…meri behen bhi to aa rahi hai na…😛…Pari smiles, and is about to say something when the bell rings…she begins to rush towards it, but Saumya holds her back, saying that he'll do the honours this time…Pari looks at Dadaji to stop him from depriving her of this pleasure, but Saumya's too quick for her, and mischieviously gets to the door before she realizes where he vanished…he opens the door with a cheery "welcome!" but his face drains of colour when he finds not Aditya and Ishana, but Jitisha standing outside it, holding a Rakhi thali, and with tears glistening in her eyes…😊he looks shocked at her sight…she says – aaj aapki doosri behen aapko rakhi bandhne aayi hai, Saumya bhaiya…😳…and as soon as she utters the last word, his expression softens instantly…😳everybody gets up and smiles with joy, as Saumya tells her softly to come in…she hugs Pari, and gets down to complete the ceremony with Saumya…she tells him that she never understood the importance of this relationship in so many years, but has now been brought back to earth…and she values this bond more than ever before…😊Saumya remembers Pari's words about getting the family together and keeping relationships alive by fostering them under their love…he looks genuinely touched as Jitisha motions to touch his feet…he stops her, and gives her a nice warm hug…😳
Meanwhile at the Mehra residence, they settle down at the dining table and relish every bite of the breakfast prepared by Khushi…😊finally Aditya says that he sees a genuine change in his sister today, coz while she usually sits on his head until he gives her her gift, today she hasn't even asked for it…Khushi thinks to herself that to see a smile on Rohit's face and to hear kind words from his mouth are just about the best gift she could have asked for…😳she keeps looking at Rohit, but Aditya snaps her out of her reverie, and she tells him that his love is her biggest gift, and so she doesn't need another…but he gives her the gift nevertheless, and takes his leave to go to Saumya and Pari's place…and as soon as they leave, Rohit's manner instantly reverts to the usual cold and stern kind…Khushi begins to thank him, but he stops her curtly, and says that there's no need to thank him, coz he didn't do anything for her…whatever he did was for Aditya and Ishana's sake…when he had left his house for his wife, his wife never cared for him in her house…it was these people – Danima, Aditya and Ishana, who truly looked after him and guarded his feelings and self-respect…and there is no way he can ever even dream of hurting them in any way…and with that, he storms off, leaving Khushi with tears in her eyes…
Back at Parashar house, everyone's left, and Pari's in her room opening her present, when Saumya walks in looking quite dazed…he sits down beside her, and she suddenly notices that he has tears in his eyes…she drops her gift instantly, and shifts nearer to him, caressing his cheek and gently asking him what's wrong…but he tells her to let the tears flow this time…coz they're tears of happiness…today, after so many years, a bond that he had thought extinguished, has come back to life again…😊he's deeply touched by the fragrance of this long lost relationship, which has revived all of a sudden…and he owes this happiness entirely to Pari…😳he thanks her with all his heart, and when she says that this isn't her doing, but is in fact the power of love in these relationships in a family, he says that she must let him thank her…he never believed in her faith, and actually told her to give up her efforts…but no more…it is said that a Yagya can only truly be complete when the husband and wife both sit in it together…and that is exactly what he's going to do…😃he's with her in this mission now…she smiles as her eyes fill with a new light, brighter than any that shown in them before, and he holds her face in his hands and says – haan Pari…tumhara Saumya tumhare saath hai…😃…the episode ends with both of them looking lovingly into each other's eyes…😳😃😃
Hey guys…things are really beginning to look up man…😃touch wood! Except for Khushi's woes, everything is going just as it should…and I'm loving every moment of it…😃finally, we get to see some long overdue warmth between Saumya and Pari, and are blessed with the hope of some more in the weeks to come…😳and the whole Jitisha sequence was very sweet…😳let's see what tomorrow has in store…!😃
