Scene 7
Meghna reaches the terrace and hides. The man reaches the terrace and while confronting him, the man pushes her and she falls down from the terrace and dies.
CID team arrives: The 3 cops come there and find her dead. ACP sir is confused as how what she was doing in an ashram and asks the people. One of them tells that 15 days ago she had come there to treat her depression. On Abhijeet sir's saying, Purvi checks the bones of her leg and finds it fine. The same man tells ACP sir that Meghna had taken her life but ACP sir says that she had called him and told that someone was behind her to kill her. Purvi checks the shoulder bones and finds them fine too. ACP sir says that someone had killed her and Abhijeet sir confirms it by saying that if she had committed suicide then the foot bones and the facial bones would've been broken but it was not the case with her. ACP sir says that someone has pushed her from the terrace and asks Abhijeet sir to check the terrace and that he would inform her dad. The ambulance arrives and takes the body away.
Scene 8: Terrace
In the terrace, Abhijeet sir finds a fallen flowerpot. After checking something he confirms that that was indeed a murder. He explains to Purvi saying that when the attacker had pushed her she held the pot for support and eventually fell. He adds that the branch was facing downward in Meghna's hand and that was crystal clear that it was a murder. He is dusting his hand when they hear someone coming. They turn to see the so-called disciples coming along with their guru. He says that he was just a guru and that the ultimate guru was Him. Abhijeet sir notices something in his hand and then asks him what Meghna was doing there. The guru says that she was in search of peace and that now she had attained Mukti. He again raises his hand and once again Abhi sir notices something. He asks the guru if he had come to the terrace recently saying that he had the whitewash thingy in his hand. The guru looks at Abhijeet and then says that the ashram was painted anew just some time ago and maybe because of that. Abhi sir nods.

Dr. Salunkhe and Dr. Tarika are examining the evidences and he when the team comes, the former confirms the already known fact saying that he had obtained a bit of human tissue which was not Meghna's but someone else's. Abhijeet sir tells that there must have been a rebellion by Meghna and Salunkhe sir adds to it by saying that the blood drop obtained from the garment was the attacker's with whom she had rebelled. Dr. Tarika says that traces of benzene and alcohol were found in her body which was found only if the person used drugs.
Scene 10
In Meghna's room as they do a search, Purvi finds a knife under the cot and Daya sir asks her to get the fingerprints from there. He, inside a vase, finds a handy cam. In the recording the team finds Meghna telling that reports have informed her of crores of rupees being accumulated at the ashram and to unravel the secret was her mission. On hearing footsteps, she puts the handycam into the flower vase. When she opens the door, its Mahaguru Atmanand who refuses to let Meghna go out because he had found out that she was spying. He also tells that his guruji felt that it was a plan to make him guilty and that he had some evidence for his alibi.
Scene 13
In ACP sir's house, he replays the entire scenario with glazed eyes when he receives a phone call which showed "Meghna". KD sir says that medical evidences being against him, it was difficult to believe his alibi. Yogendra again hands over a set of photos on seeing which KD sir stares in disbelief. Guruji tells KD that he is free to leave the case if he gets the slightest feel that guruji was the criminal.
Scene 16

He finally comes face to face with KD sir. The latter tells that he received a call asking him to come there. They both enter a room and find an old gramophone underneath with a heart card is lying with "Room no: 1204" written behind it. While moving away, KD sir finds a ruby stone. KD sir suggests they climb down the stairs but just then the lift comes up and they get inside. Abhi sir finds another card which had some symbol. They remove the fan and find a time bomb. Mayur calls Abhi sir and the latter asks him to send everyone outside as there was a time bomb with just 30 secs left. KD sir and Abhi sir then climb the rope and Abhi sir, with two bullets, sends the lift reeling downward. The bomb ticks off and there is an explosion with the flames reaching up. KD sir with much difficulty opens the door to a floor and falls out and Abhi sir falls out just in time.

Shreya brings in a fax saying that KD had received it regarding a New Assurance bank. Shreya asks about a long number at the bottom. ACP sir tells that any detail about the bank could be unearthed via the MICR number and asks Shreya to collect more details and the bank turns out to be of Wadala branch.
Scene 24
At the bank, the manager tells Daya sir that there were accounts of over 50 disciples of Aatmanand. When Daya sir wonders about this, he sees a 5' card and behind it 35 written. He asks the manager to take him to the locker section. On opening the locker 35, Daya sir stares in astonishment.
Scene 25
We see a man bound and struggling. One man brings him water but ultimately pours it on the man's face.
Scene 26
In the court, KD sir tells ACP sir that it was a saazish to call both CID and himself at the apartment. ACP sir adds that perhaps it was to kill CID because they had caught Mahaguru red-handed. Just then, public prosecutor Mr.Rajaram enters the scene and assures ACP sir that he would win the case and then we see Mahaguru being brought in.
The hearing begins and the prosecutor explains the gist. He tells about the struggle on the terrace, the tissue grabbed by Meghna, the bloodstain on the garment and the fingerprints on the knife. ACP sir comes to the witness box and tells that Mahaguru had become aware that Meghna was on a sting operation, he had warned her but when she wouldn't budge, he had killed her.
KD sir asks Mahaguru to explain the actuality and the latter tells that Meghna had come running and told him that she too would go with him and had caught hold of his leg. He tells that perhaps that was when Meghna's nails had scratched his foot and shows the same. KD goes on to explain that there was no wound of any sort that would show any grabbing by Meghna. He also tells that the knife was actually Mahaguru's, the one that he always kept with himself and tells that the article had reached Meghna's room with the purpose to put Mahaguru into trouble
KD then brings in two lookalikes of Mahaguru and tells that in order to secure Mahaguru from threats, two of his disciples had changed their faces. KD also tells that it was one of them (Kiran Shukla) who was present in the apartment the other day and tried to kill him and Abhijeet, because the ruby fit into his ring perfectly. Kiran asks for proof and KD sir reveals to the court that an amount of Rs.10 crore was found in his locker (Locker no:35 in New Assurance Bank) . Kiran tells that it was Sarvesh who had given him the money to put Mahaguru into trouble.
Sarvesh tells that Mahaguru was all for Yogendra and so he wanted to teach Mahaguru a lesson. He also tells that he had paid Koran and planned everything and left the evidence in such a way that Mahaguru was in trouble. He also confesses of trying to kill Abhijeet and KD for fear of being caught.KD sir asks him about the call from Meghna's phone, Sarvesh says that although he possessed Meghna's phone now, he didn't make any such calls. He also denies knowing anything about the card in the bank. He begs pardon to Mahaguru.
The judge delivers his verdict to arrest Sarvesh and Kiran and releases Mahaguru.
Scene 27
In the bureau, ACP sir wonders who had been calling him pretending to be Meghna. Daya sir adds that after the blast in the lift, the phone had been hidden. Shreya points out Sarvesh hadn't called from Meghna's phone. Daya sir wonders who's the unknown man who helped them catch Sarvesh, and why.
Scene 28
Daya sir is driving along on a dark city road at night, when he sees Meghna walk in front of the car. Surprised, he stops and gets out to look for her, but she's gone. He wonders if it really was Meghna, then decides he must be mistaken and laves.
Scene 29
In his office, KD sir is seen examining the card sent to him and wonders who must've done it. He receives a call from the Mahaguru Atmananda saying he wishes to meet him immediately at the ashram, and he'll explain everything there. KD sir agrees.
Scene 30
At his home, ACP sir is seen examining the footage of the "Mahaguru" Kiran catching Meghna red-handed and offering her veiled threats. He says the drugs they've given her will help her think clearly that night, and hands her the knife he was holding. ACP sir notices something and immediately calls Daya sir there. ACP sir tells him they had been suspecting the Mahaguru's lookalike Kiran so far, but points out that Kiran had caught the wad of cash thrown by KD sir in the courtroom with his left hand, and also gestured to Sarvesh with his left hand; whereas in the video the killer is seen handing over the knife with his right hand. Daya sir says the killer is either the Mahaguru himself or his second lookalike. ACP sir shows the other guy's visa papers indicating that he had only returned from Malaysia that morning, and concludes the Mahaguru himself is the killer.
Scene 31
KD sir meets the Mahaguru at his ashram. The latter reveals a hidden door behind a large portrait of his in the living room, enters a code on the digital panel to open it and lets them inside. He explains that the panel can only be opened by his and his successor Yogendra's fingerprints and codes. Inside, we see several metal chests containing huge amounts of cash, gold bricks and other valuables. The Mahaguru explains that it's the root of all their issues, and why Meghna had come there - wealth supplied to him by powerful ministers and entrepreneurs, totaling over 9.5 crore rupees. He says he's revealing it to KD sir as his conscience is troubling him too much.
Daya sir breaks into the ashram, angrily calling out to the Mahaguru. He overpowers some disciples who try to stop him and finds the hidden door to the treasure vault open in the living room, and enters it. The Mahaguru is seen saying Meghna's murder should not go in vain. Daya sir arrives and accuses him of murdering her. The Mahaguru says he'll explain everything to them, mentioning that he's merely a puppet in the hands of the mastermind who possesses the other half of the treasure. He explains that when he was a poor roadside magician on the streets of Nasik, this man recognized his talents and helped him rise to the position of the Mahaguru. He says the man is a very powerful and well-known entity, but before he can name him, the door to the vault closes by itself and knockout gas is released from the corners. The shocked Mahaguru explains it's an automated security defense mechanism against intruders. The three of them are unable to do anything, and succumb to the gas as it slowly fills the room. We hear a gunshot and the Mahaguru's scream. His disciples are alarmed; Yogendra opens the digital lock and they enter it to find the Mahaguru shot dead on the ground, and Daya sir and KD sir slowly regaining consciousness with the latter holding a gun. The disciples immediately accuse the latter of murdering the Mahaguru. KD sir is shocked and explains to Daya sir that he found the gun in his hand on waking up.
Scene 32
Chandrakant (the Mahaguru's powerful follower from scene 11 and 20) is seriously angry about KD sir apparently murdering the Mahaguru, and rings up Justice Balsara to tell him that KD will be defending his own case in court the next day, and must be severely punished by any means possible as he's a vile liar. Justice Balsara tells him that he will only be making decisions based on evidence and facts. Chandrakant flares up and offers to bribe Balsara; the latter warns him not to cross his limits, and disconnects the call.
Scene 33
The trial begins in court. KD sir explains to the judge that he didn't murder the Mahaguru, and the latter himself had called him there to reveal the secret about his hoarded treasure and mastermind when the entire tragedy took place. Prosecutor Bhide expresses suspicion over the entire scenario and questions Daya sir, who says he did not see KD sir or any of the disciples shooting the Mahaguru. Bhide again blames KD sir, who demands why he would murder someone he had just gotten cleared in court. Bhide asks Daya sir why he had went to the ashram. Daya sir explains how they had deciphered that the killer isn't Kiran but the Mahaguru himself, and the video is played in court to demonstrate the same. Kiran is called and questioned why he had agreed about murdering Meghna. Kiran reluctantly says it was all a plan by KD sir, and Sarvesh was involved as well. Sarvesh is called, and he says the same.
(Hypothetical flashback)
We see Kiran and Sarvesh meeting KD sir at his office. KD sir says he'll handle the rest of the evidences, but needs their help to deal with the CID's footage and they must take the blame upon themselves. He assures of getting them out of jail within a year and paying them well, and adds they should at least do this much for their god.
(Flashback ends)
Sarvesh adds that earlier in jail, the Mahaguru informed him that he's bribed KD to their side and they must do as he says in order to get him freed. KD sir is shocked and says he's being framed; neither did he meet Kiran or Sarvesh, nor did the Mahaguru bribe him. Sarvesh tells him that the Mahaguru deposited 5 crore rupees in his bank account immediately upon being released, and called him to the ashram to hand over the rest of the money. Bhide says they've confirmed and seized the 5 crore rupees that were indeed transferred to KD sir's account, and construes that he demanded for more money upon seeing the ashram vault, and the murder took place following an argument. KD sir says Sarvesh is lying, and the Mahaguru had in fact called them to reveal the mastermind's name and Daya sir witnessed that. He adds that if he were involved, he would not have been attacked in the lift. Sarvesh says the lift incident was KD sir's plan to get rid of the CID and make it look as if the Mahaguru was being targeted. Bhide says they've indeed seized a blueprint of the lift area from KD sir's office. KD sir insists all these evidences were intentionally planted against him.
Daya sir speaks up and tells the judge that there's an unknown person who's been after them since the beginning. He points out the clues in cards, calls from Meghna's phone. Bhide says it was KD sir's handiwork to mislead them and point towards Sarvesh, and notes that the stone which led Abhijeet sir to Kiran was found by KD sir as well. KD sir insists he's innocent and he went into the ashram unarmed. Bhide calls Yogendra who says he had seen the gun in KD sir's pocket when he entered, and thought it was for self-defense. KD sir accuses him and points out that the vault can only be opened by Yogendra and the Mahaguru's fingerprints, so it's likely that after knocking them out, he shot the Mahaguru and put the gun in KD sir's hands. Yogendra says he was with the other disciples away from the vault. Bhide continues to accuse and taunt KD sir as the court session comes to an end. Justice Balsara says that all evidences point towards KD sir being involved in the Mahaguru's murder, and he'll make the judgement on the next day. The court is dismissed.
Scene 34
ACP sir meets KD sir in the jail and says that he knows it simply isn't in the latter's nature to accept bribes of any kind, or to murder anybody. KD sir thanks him for the trust, and says that it's a conspiracy by the mastermind whom the Mahaguru had been about to expose. ACP sir says they need to find this man.
Scene 35
Daya sir is driving at night when the Meghna girl passes once more in front of him. By the time he disembarks, she's vanished. He's sure this time that it's Meghna, and drives off.
Scene 36
In the bureau, ACP sir tells Daya sir that they have only 24 hours to catch the man who murdered the Mahaguru and the only clue they have is the gun found in KD sir's hand. He notes that the gun's serial number has been filed off, indicating that it was stolen. Daya sir notes that it's a 0.22 mm micro Desert Eagle, a rare limited edition handgun. ACP sir says they need to visit all police stations and find out if there were any reports of that gun being stolen. Shreya checks the records and finds out that in the past 3 years, there were 4 reports of such a gun being stolen. ACP sir asks her to find out which of those 4 people this particular gun belongs to.
Scene 37
Only about 19 hours are remaining. We see Abhijeet sir and Purvi in a house; the latter informs that this is the residence of the last of the 4 people who had reported the Desert Eagle being stolen; the other three proved to be futile. The man Anupam arrives and recognizes the photo of the gun, saying he's still got its license. He adds that it was stolen about a month ago, and the thief must be an outsider as he trusts everybody in the house. We see a man watching them from behind the curtain. Abhijeet sir notices this and tells Anupam to contact them if there are any updates, and hands over his card. As he leaves, he intentionally drops his wallet on the ground. Outside, he informs Purvi about this and they watch discreetly from the window as the servant emerges and picks up the wallet. They catch him red-handed and he confesses to his thieving habit. He says he sold the gun to one Ghanshu, who deals arms in Dharavi under the cover of a kabadi shop.
Scene 38
Only about 16 hours are left. The same team chases and finally captures Ghanshu. Abhijeet sir hands him a tight slap.
Scene 39
ACP sir, Abhijeet sir and others interrogate Ghanshu in the bureau. He confesses that a tall well-built man had bought the gun about 10 days ago for 1.5 lakh rupees, which are present in his hideout. He says the man didn't give any identity, and he didn't ask either. ACP sir wonders who this man is.
Scene 40
13.22 hours are left. ACP sir examines the cash taken from Ghanshu's hideout and notes that they're all in proper serial order, and Abhijeet sir points out they were withdrawn from one New Assurance bank's Marol branch recently. Daya sir calls ACP sir and says that he's successfully traced Meghna's phone, and is going after it.
Scene 41
11.04 hours are left. Daya sir and Mayur drive up to a dark forest graveyard at night. The latter dials Meghna's number and it starts ringing. Following the sound, Daya sir finds another trail of cards on the ground and going along it, they find the phone buried near Meghna's grave. They see the eerie figure of a girl standing at a distance, who announces she's Meghna. By the time they reach her, she vanishes into the fog. Daya sir tells Mayur to take Meghna's phone to ACP sir, while he goes after her.
Scene 42
8.33 hours are left. Mayur explains what happened to ACP sir, who tells Abhijeet sir that they'll only find out the truth when Meghna talks to Daya sir. And before that, they must find out more about the bank notes. Shreya says it's taking the bank officials time to trace the notes. ACP sir worries that they have only 6 hours left until the trial. We see a brief shot of KD sir walking tensely in the jail. Abhijeet sir receives a call from the bank manager Mahesh, and is shocked to learn whom the account belongs to. He asks him to send details of the account to the bureau.
Scene 43
Daya sir follows another trail of cards and finds Meghna, who says she desires revenge for her murder and although the Mahaguru is dead, one more target remains. Daya sir asks who that is, and is suddenly shot with a dart from behind, and goes unconscious.
Scene 44
In the bureau, Abhijeet sir hesitates to tell ACP sir about the account holder's name. The details arrive on email from Mahesh, and ACP sir is shocked to see it that it's registered after none other than Daya sir. Ghanshu is called and he once again describes the tall well-built man who bought the gun from him. He's shown the photos of various suspects, and recognizes Daya sir as the man in question. ACP sir and Abhijeet sir are shocked and wonder how he got dragged into this issue. ACP sir asks Shreya to summon all the ashram people connected to this case, and instructs Abhijeet sir to ring up Daya sir. Shreya brings in Sarvesh, Yogendra and Kiran who are questioned harshly by ACP sir. Yogendra says whatever they said in court is true, except that it's Daya sir instead of KD sir who accepted the bribe from the Mahaguru, and then murdered him out of greed for money. He adds that Mahaguru wished to give KD sir a blank cheque in thanks of clearing him, which KD sir didn't know about. On Daya sir's instructions, Yogendra put the amount of 5 crores on it. ACP sir angrily says that they're lying.
Scene 45
We see the heavyweight man being tortured by the goons.
Scene 46
Chandrakant is seen talking to Justic Balsara on phone, hoping that he gives due punishment to KD sir. The judge curtly dismisses him, enraging him.
Scene 47
The trial begins in court, and Bhide lists charges against KD sir. Justice Balsara asks KD sir if he has any defense in his favour. KD sir says he cannot present anything without Daya sir's presence. ACP sir explains Daya sir is unable to be contacted, and seems to be in some problem. He requests for some time. The judge says they cannot afford any further delay, but before he can pass judgement, Daya sir arrives. ACP sir requests to talk to him in private, but the judge refuses and says they must present everything regarding the case openly in court. ACP sir reluctantly comes forward and explains that Daya sir was the one who bought the gun from Ghanshu. Sarvesh, Yogendra and Kiran give their testimonies as well.
The judge questions Daya sir, who confesses that he murdered the Mahaguru and then put the gun in KD sir's hands and proceeded to fake unconsciousness. He adds that he had asked Yogendra to transfer 5 crore rupees to KD sir's account as well. Abhijeet sir protests against his words, but the judge asks him to sit down. Daya air apologizes to everyone and agrees to accept punishment. The judge clears KD sir of all charges and arrests Daya sir in his place, and says he'll be tried separately in the next session. He also orders for Sarvesh and Kiran to be arrested for their previous false testimonials. The court is dismissed and everybody is shocked at what happened. Abhijeet sir meets Daya sir and demands to know what's the truth. The latter simply says he's sorry, and gives KD sir and ACP sir a hesitant look as he's taken away. The three of them disbelieve Daya sir's confession and wonder whose blames he's taking upon himself, and why.
Scene 48
KD sir meets Daya sir in jail and says he knows that the latter is innocent. He asks why Sarvesh and Yogendra suddenly left him and directed the blame towards Daya sir. Daya sir refuses to cooperate, but KD sir insists that he should do it at least for ACP sir. Daya sir discreetly signals that he'll give him a written message, and proceeds to do that on a piece of paper, though continuing to speak that he murdered the Mahaguru. KD sir sees what he's written - there's a hidden microchip in his body via which the enemies can hear everything. The paper he wrote this on came from the diary of one Jalwa bar. KD sir plays along and takes leave after reassuring him.
Scene 49
KD sir discusses the above event with Abhijeet sir in his office, and says they need to visit the Jalwa bar that night to find out more.
Scene 50
At the Jalwa bar, we see a lengthy Bollywood-type dance scene taking place (pretty unnecessary in my opinion. No offence). KD sir and Abhijeet sir are present in disguise, and have drinks there. They start feeling dizzy and are surprised to see Meghna present there. She looks at them.
Scene 51
The girl takes them to her house and explains that Meghna was her twin sister, and they never got along very well. Abhijeet sir demands how she got Meghna's phone, and why she's been playing games with them. She says she was bribed to keep the CID in doubt if Meghna's dead or alive. She explains that they rigged an orphanage in Bandra with bombs and threatened to kill the children unless Daya sir agreed to take the blames upon himself. When she mistakenly gave away that she's not a ghost, Daya sir demanded the truth, but was injected from behind with a microchip by the mastermind (shown as a masked and hooded figure). The mastermind warned him not to play games, or they'll destroy the orphanage like the lift. Before going unconscious, we see Daya sir slowly taking the bar diary paper that Meghna's twin had dropped. Back in the present, Abhijeet sir and KD sir demand to know who the mastermind is, but their dizziness gets worse by the minute and they collapse. The girl reveals that she had poisoned their drinks in the bar. She gloats about her boss and goes out to meet him at the door, saying her work is done. The masked man mercilessly shoots her dead and proceeds to tie Abhijeet sir and KD sir to chairs.
He reveals that he's the mastermind of the entire plan. The Mahaguru used to work for him and manage his black money, but eventually his conscience got the better of him and he wished to leave that job. At the time, he happened to kill Meghna. The Mahaguru promised not to leave his post if the boss covered up the murder. However, after being released, he returned to his original plan and decided to tell the truth to KD sir and the CID. Therefore, he schemed with Yogendra and hid in the vault to kill the Mahaguru. After announcing his intention to kill Abhijeet sir and KD sir, he places a glass jar upon the table, containing a scorpion and test tube with green fluid. He explains that it's the antidote to the poison spreading in their bodies, but unfortunately there's only enough to save one of them. Abhijeet sir expresses suspicion if it's the real antidote. The boss brushes it away and says he's destroyed the phone so the CID team can't locate them. He takes leave.
Abhijeet sir and KD sir work together to first carefully remove the scorpion using the former's muffler, and then KD sir removes the antidote. He smells the fluid and drains it into the jar. Abhijeet sir is surprised, but KD sir reveals it was nothing but vegetable juice. He smashes the test tube and they use the pieces of glass to cut open their ropes.
Scene 52
The mastermind is seen driving away in a car; he's shocked to see footage of KD sir and Abhijeet sir escaping in a monitor on the dashboard. Afraid that they'll escape, he goes back intending to shoot them. However, by the time he reaches there, both of them have freed themselves and proceed to disarm him and fight back vigorously. The boss gets shot in the shoulder and flees for his life. There's a car chase and Abhijeet sir shoots out the tires of his vehicle, causing it to crash. There's a brief gunfight before they finally manage to corner and capture him together. KD sir removes the mask and the boss is revealed to be none other than the judge, Justice Balsara. He reveals that he's not a judge but a mafia don named Carlo. They kidnapped the real, obscure Justice Balsara and he took his place. They arrest him.
Scene 53
KD sir and our trio are seen thanking each other in the former's office. ACP sir shakes hands with him saying they're an unstoppable force of justice together.
