Porcelain....

From the time he gently asks her to come out, so he could start his new year with the most desirable person in his life, to the time when he calls his friend with an SOS all for his Nandu, bet he knew he would have to answer a zillion embarrassing questions and Cabir would pull his leg till dooms day..he still decided to ask for help so she could be less embarrassed, to the thoughtful gesture of turning off the lights so the super shy girl could ease back without being too mortified...sigh each gesture was so touching, so unbelievable, so tender...and mind you all this coming from the same guy who ruthlessly tortured and tormented her in a zillion cruel ways till you hated the very sight of him.

I just couldn't believe he is the very same guy. Yes, we have seen gestures of tenderness and thoughtfulness from his before as far as fab 5 and Nandini are concerned but today, he took the cake and ate it too. Today, was a revelation, and he was sheer love in motion.

Every action of his, every expression of his, spoke a zillion words of love, concern and caring. Be it a simple though of filling her new year with sparkles, one look at the glitter and his mind could only think of Nandini and the joy such a simple thing would give her. And was he right, she forgot all her mortification, the shower bringing such an innocent and joyous smile on her cherubic face and Manik...just watched, simply absorbed and drank the child like exuberance on her countenance. What a beautiful start to his year...his face clearly saying wish every year could start with that face and that smile of sheer ecstasy, his life would indeed be perfect!!

And the way he made love to her...( err...focus girls..please focus...I know its impossible but...😆😳), so gentle, so delicately...he treated her like a porcelain figure. Too afraid to break her, pure velvet to hold, too soft to touch, too precious to let go...his every stroke, every caress so tender!! Yet, there was unrestrained passion too...the way he lost his way, wanting more than Nandini was ready to give...that was so typical of our can't keep my hands off you Manik 😆!! And the respect he showed her...her wishes...her shyness...he understood her inhibitions and gladly hugged them to his heart...he can never ever force her for something that she is not comfortable with...that hug could fill volumes about how a man needs to understand his woman's wishes and needs to respect them...what a beautiful understanding of her unsaid emotions...he treats her like she deserves to be treated ..with utmost love and respect!!

His super protective instincts and his hurry to make an exit clearly underlining his worry about Nandini and her state. We all know the guy knows no fear...and boldly goes where no one dare tread...but he swiftly decides to retreat...the reason the precious girl on his side, lest some harm come to her, he just couldn't risk it!! Super mindful of her safety, he decides to play the guardian and leaves heroics for other carefree times.

The scenes with Cabir, again for me highlighted his respect for his girl. The way he shielded her, understood her awkwardness, translating the same through his body language was...simply stupendous. He reads her so well, understands her so thoroughly, trying to comfort her, simply letting her know that he is there to help her in any which way he can. His silence, his hand holding, his keeping Cabir at bay, his covering the windshield, his reassuring smiles...letting her know every minute that she could trust him, and he would take care of her whatever the circumstance. Nandini's plight took my heart away, how embarrassed must she be feeling, how mortifying for her especially in front of Cabir, and Manik handled it beautifully. Now, that's a way to take care of your girl.

All he could think of was ways to ease her discomfort, her every unspoken feeling, understood, her every need, fulfilled!! He was so attuned to all that was raging inside her, so one with her!!

Honestly, did not expect such sensitivity and sensibility from Manik, for that matter from any guy. Especially from Manik cause try as hard as we might...his monster images cannot be erased. The guy still manages to strike terror when I remember the past episodes. What a fantastic transformation, what a meaningful journey, what a magical redemption from a monster to a man of her dreams...from a tormentor to a protector...from a devil to a desire, from a brat who ripped her dignity to shreds to a partner who would happily kill for her honor !!

Loved the way he handled her today, so gently, so preciously, so tenderly, like she was porcelain...pure white and fragile, delicate and precious!!
