I think they have had writer's block for sometimes. After all, it's not easy to write comedy for so long.

And now they are following the KJo mantra of doing all celebrations on a grand scale.

As long as they get decent TRPs, they will carry on like this. After all, it's just another job for them. Unko toh paisa aa raha hai na.

To be frank, I love all the characters in TMKOC except new Daya and Tapu Sena and wouldn't mind them doing simple things like having a good meal together or something. You know like in Hrishikesh Mukherjee films. I liked the track where Babuji made dal dhokli. Even the current one is not bad compared to what was dished out last year.
