MahaKumbh Written Updates - 29.12.2014

The episode starts with Rudra finally bringing Udiya Baba's wife to whom badly badly wanted to apologize for not being able to save their son. He cries seeing his wife and reiterates how he had tried his best to save their son and begs for her forgiveness. Baba's wife bows down in front of him completely broken as Rudra gives Baba's the holy water to ease his pain and release his soul. Udiya baba finally passes away, liberated from all burden.

Pandey is begging for Swami's forgiveness and asking for a second chance but Swami is adamant. Pandey is not getting any second chance as per what Swami had warned him before. Pandey is panic stricken remembering what Swami told him in case he fails in his mission - he will not be able to make eye contact with anybody! Swami's men tie Pandey on a chair leaving swami alone with a hysterical Pandey trying to free himself. Swami plucks his eye with a hot metal rod. Swami leaves giving orders to make sure that Pandey doesn't ever see with that eye while the latter is yelling in pain.

Udiya Baba's funeral rites are being prepared and a "lost in thoughts" Rudra is reminiscing Baba's words and how he was explaining to him the meaning of his name. MaaMui and Punno are arranging for the wood while she is remembering Baba's and her interaction and telling Punno how she told Baba that if ever he died before her, she will be arranging for the logs for his funeral. She is also emotional. She gives the logs to Rudra and the funeral rites are done finally by Rudra who ends up feeling guilty for whatever happened to Baba and responsible for his death. He ends up feeling that he is a jinx and a bad omen for people around him and he decides to go away to protect his maai. He runs from there while Punno runs after him, calling his name.

The two boys finally end up in a contruction site. Rudra stops running when Punno falls down. They hug and Punno tells him not to leave him. Rudra turns away to go despite Punno's pleading. Rudra tells Punno that he cares for them and this is the reason he is going away. He tells Punno : "if you consider me as your brother, promise me not to tell Maai about my departure".

Punno swears to keep his promise and they hug. Rudra gets at the back of a truck and leaves while a limping Punno runs after him and waves him goodbye. On the other hand, an anxious Maamui is looking for Rudra everywhere while Tiwari is trying to calm her down. Maai is upset because she has seen the guilt in Rudra's eyes and she understand the pain Rudra had gone through performing the "antim sanskar" of his baba with his own hands. She shouts his name but Rudra is going away in the truck and is having flashbacks of Baba, his last agonized day alive and on the sacred pyre.

The truck is moving fast while a boy is running to catch it. He gets in and finds Rudra, asking him who he is and who sent him but Rudra is not talking to him. He threatens Rudra with a knife but Rudra is not impressed and holds his hand.

A fight is going on with pistols. The boy is with Rudra and he is protecting him. In Benares, Maai is asking Punno of Rudra's whereabouts.
