ZRA 2014 - disappointing

Hi All,

The ZRA 2014 telecasted in the US today (Dec 28 2014) and I am extremely disappointed.

Surbhi Jyoti only got an award for best sister as Seher.

Seriously?! I feel like she deserves an award for best actress - she's playing 4 characters on this show:

1) Zoya

2) Sanam

3) Seher

4) Seher pretending to be Sanam

All 4 body languages have to be different and she has managed to keep them all different and has evoked amazing chemistry with Asad and now Ahil.

How are these awards even judged/determined?

Hello! !

I think those awards were to include all the shows under their banner in a non competitive manner. The TRP toppers get the main awards and the others get something. Everyone gets something... even a show that hasn't even aired at the time, some 7 mother's in law or something. ..

Many including me were fooled into thinking it was a merit based thing. It's like a feel good family day for all.

Seher wasn't behaving like a good sister at all in the show at the time, her getting the award meant SJ had to get something. ..

I won't take the awards seriously at all. No offense to the channel. Feel good and inclusive is what they wanted.

Ok this is making more sense now - even I was thinking how can they award Satrangi Sasural's Vihaan and Arushi as new comers. I'm pretty sure when this was shot Satrangi had not even aired.

It's nice that they want to recognize talent and all the "rishtas" the actors do work hard all year long so its nice they get to come out and celebrate.

I didn't find this year's awards disappointing

Infact every award given , was given to the one deserving it!

But my fav. Zee Rishtey Awards will always be ZRA 2013

Where SJ win best actress, KaBhi ( AsYa ) won best Jodi, AsYaan won best brothers, Tanveer won best villain & QH won best dialogues!

Highest awards were received by QH!

All these awards are rigged. I guess they give the awards to the producer, or PH, not the actor!

Was there any bhai-bhai awards? AsYaan won dat award 2 times- in 2012 it was KSG-RS n in 2013 it was KSG-VM.

Seher getn award was okay. But Pragya n Urmi getn award for best beti was ridiculous. APHG d serial which was abt to end was given so much disrespect of not getn any award. Raj n Avni were better than Abhi-Pragya n Atrangi couple whose serial was not even started.
