Kajol has refused Kahaani director's Durga Rani Singh

Is Kajol really serious about her comeback which she is planning since a year?

After turning her back on three offers, Kajol has done a encore on another film.

9xe.com has it that, last week, Mrs Ajay Devgn said 'no' to star in Sujoy Ghosh's next, Durga Rani Singh.

First, Kajol was supposed to mark her TV debut in a Rensil D'Silva's 27-episode fiction show which revolved around a single mother living in a joint family in Delhi. A few months ago, Ajay went on record to confirm that she will return with a film to be co-produced by him and directed by Let's Talk director Ram Madhwani, an Indian adaptation of the Dutch TV series Penoza. And then, she started to get ready for the Hindi remake of the 2014 Malayalam hit Old Are You. None of these materialised.

The actress has been on a break since the birth of her son, Yug in 2010.

Meanwhile, Sujoy continues to hunt the leading lady for Durga Rani Singh. Prior to Kajol, Vidya Balan, Kangana Ranaut and Kareena Kapoor refused the film. The film revolves around a 35-year old mother of a 14-year old paralytic girl.

Maybe script isn't that good. He should approach Tabu.

or maybe go back to vidya again. she was supposed to do it anyway, but opted out due health issues i believe.

I dont think Kajol refused for the mother character she played mother of a teen in We are family. I think sujoy's script is weak too many women rejected it.
