Veera changed her expressions to joyful smiling ones and sat on the
chair beside Baldev's bed.
Veera; abhi kuch mahine pehle hi to aayi hun, iska matlab tu sach
main sab bhool gya he, veerji ne kaha to menu yaqeen nhi hua, tu

Baldev; oye, kabootri! me nautanki nhi hun, tu hai.

Baldev; (slow husky voice) tu agai he na, ab to forun theek hojana

Veera blushed a little but she tried to hide it.
Veera; kya?
Baldev; kuch nhi, sher hun main, theek hi hun bas ye doctor log hen
jo rok k bethe hen wrna main to abhi ghar jana chahta hun
Veera; achaw!
Baldev; (getting close to veera's face and in a naughty voice) aazma

Veera stood up.
Veera; tu ghar jayega na phir aaongi ab main chalti hun

Veera was very disturbed with Baldev's obvious drooling on her, she

At Ranvi's house Balveer was again arguing

Balveer started weeping. Veera hugged him.

The next day Veera made some halwa and went to Baldev's house,
he was discharged from the hospital and resting at his house. She
went straight to his room and as soon as she opened the door her

she left. Baldev opened the box and tasted the halwa.

Veera reached home and started crying.
Veera; kyun Rabjee, baar baar kyun le rahe ho mera imtihaan.
Balveer came to her and wiped her tears.
Balveer; mom don't cry please, aapko pata hai na, dad hates it when
you cry, please
Veera hugged him. Then he lay his head on her lap, Veera moved her
hand on his head.
Balveer; mom don't worry, moti chaaiji ne kaha he ke God meri baat
jaldi sunenge because me chota hun i will pray alot.
Veera; haan baby, keep praying for your dad.

Veera; i love you too baby.
Balveer; mom i'm missing dad, mujhe bhi le chalti na

Balveer left. Veera sat alone and tears kept falling from her eyes.

remember anything about their love their relation or their children.
She had to act like a friend.

phone on her ear.
Veera; hello?
Baldev; oye ki hoya tenu? main mazaq kar rha tha

Baldev; teri awaz kyun bujhi bujhi hai? dekh kaha na..ab maafi
maangni nhi aati menu.
Veera smiled.
Baldev; oye hoye ab achi lag rhi he na msukurate huye
Veera; par tenu kese pta me muskurai
Baldev; bas pta chal gya
Veera; Baldev menu bohot kaam he
Baldev; kr le, roka kisne he, wese sun halwa bht acha tha
Veera; bye
Veera smiled as she hung up. She saw Balveer peeking, she opened
her arms and he came running and hugged her.
Veera; tum bilkul apne papa jese ho pta he
Balveer; haan, ab no more tears
Veera; no more tears
Balveer kissed her cheek and she kissed him back.
