Two bikers snatch a chain from a woman (Minu). An old lady (Tulja tai) who knew her takes her home. Minu tells Tuljatai that her son has a tumor in stomach and she was planning to sell that gold chain for his treatment. Tulja tai consoles her and offers her own chain. Minu and her husband politely refuse the offer. Tuljatai still asks them to let her know if they need any help and takes their leave.
Tuljatai then visits her landlord (Vasu) and pays her rent. While leaving for mandir she sees two men coming out of a bar, located just in front of her building, who are fully drunk in daylight and swears to shut it down. The bar owner gives her a threatening look and passes by.
In the meantime Minu and her husband take their son to hospital where Doctor says the kid needs to be operated. The couple then decides to take Tuljatai's help.
On the way to mandir, a rikshaw driver (Ramesh) offers Tulja tai lift. Two men on bike try to snatch tai's gold chain but fail and try to run away. Ramesh and his friends catch the 2 and beat them but they manage to runaway.
Ramesh, then drop Tuljatai at mandir, promising her he will be back in 10/15 minutes after refueling his auto. On stairs, Tuljatai offers food to a blind man and goes in the mandir.
In hospital, Minu's husband receives a call informing about Tuljatai's death.
At mandir, Dr. Salunkhe informs that wound on Tuljatai's neck is of a sharp knife. CID team (ACP sir, Sachin, Purvi, Mayur and Divya) also notice that there are finger prints on her mouth and a mark on neck that resembles to the one of snatching chain. The blind man informs ACP sir that after Tuljatai went inside mandir, he heard footsteps of 2 persons. They were waiting for someone and once Tuljatai came out they ran behind her. He then heard them coming back running and a sound of 200cc bike's engine. He says he was a mechanic before and can recognize bikes from their sound. Dr Salunkhe then informs ACP sir that there was a 3rd person present on crime scene but blind man negates, saying he did not hear any sound of a 3rd person. Dr Salunkhe then takes ACP sir to a place where according to him third person was hiding. He shows team footprints and a freshly thrown chewing gum. Purvi wonders if this 3rd person could be autowala.
Sachin brings Ramesh-auto driver who returned after refueling his auto. ACP sir asks him about bikers. He says he didn't see any bikers when he left but then narrates the whole incident of chain snatchers that happened on the way with Tuljatai. ACP sir orders team to make sketch of bikers with the help f Ramesh.
Daya, Sachin, Freddy, Purvi and Pankaj meet Ramesh's friends where they tried to catch bikers. They find a helmet nearby which according to auto drivers belong to one of the bikers. Team finds a hair inside the helmet. Daya orders team to send the hair for DNA test and take cctv footage from all the shops in the direction where bikers went.
In Bureau, CID team investigates all chain snatching events that occur recently and from cctv footage track the route which end up in same place named Bheda slums.
ACP sir along with Sachin, Purvi, Mayur and Divya reach at Bheda slums. They witness people beating 2 men. Team stops them and crowd informs that 2 men are chain snatchers. Team checks their pockets and finds many gold chains. Purvi shows them sketch made by Ramesh. They identify the person in sketch as Cheena. ACP sir asks where they can find this Cheena.
Cid team reaches at the location and finds 4 more chain snatchers but not Cheena. On interrogation one of them gives Cheena's phone number.
In bureau, team tracks Cheena's number and find its location as Root of cubes bar. This bar is located in front of the building where Tuljatai used to live.
CID team catch Cheena and his friend at bar. They confess that they went to threaten Tuljatai and snatch her chain on Robert's - the bar owner's order. But they saw another guy attacking her with knife. Robert confesses that he just wanted to threaten Tuljatai because she was trying to shut his bar down but he didn't order a hit on her.
CID team led by Daya makes blind man from Mandir hear sound of different bikes. He recognizes one sound. It is of the bike different from the one used by Cheena. Daya muses that the killer knew Tuljatai used to visit Mandir every Monday. He then asks team to check all the bikes in nearby area and find the one similar of that used by killer.
CID team catches Vasu - Tuljatai's landlord with the clue of bike. After receiving a tight slap from Daya, he confesses of murder. Vasu wanted to sell the flat where Tuljatai was living and he thought she will never leave it as she was very old tenant. Daya delivers phansi dialogue.
