Spoiler-Dhol Bajne Laga a patriotic song?

Deepali is singing the song next week and as with a lot of themes and song selections in this show, we have to question whether its a patriotic "desh bhakti" song. Its not a top top reality show favorite song (or is it?) so yes, its something different. But does it fit the theme? I am assuming by what I read in the previews.

She could picked dilwale tera naam kya hai or har karam apna karenge aye vatan tere liye too.

But the song she picked, it seems like she sang it very well (going by the preview but lets hear and judge for sure on Friday 😃) and was one of the best from the 7th gala. But I fear her song selection may go down too well with viewers.

True, we can't blame Deepali cos its the channel and producers who I think give the contestants a list of songs. I just hope the judges comments mean something cos it often happens that the comments are good (from the preview) but when we watch, we don't agree and think something else.

It's not a patriotic song at all.... I feel her song selection is bad and it won't connect with the audience. 😕 but you can't blame her cos it's on the list that is given to them by Sony and it's really sad cos many people who vote don't know about this.

ok bak 2 topic... dhol bajne laga is not a patriotic song... its more abt someone returnin back to home.. to his village... to his roots. the film and the picturisation of this song doesnt give any desh bhakt message...but in the film they sing this song when anil kapoor returns to his village in india from abroad... it can be used for someone who is back to his country.

now why this song??? probably they thought of not repeating the same patriotic songs again.. (all reality shows plus II1 had some common desh bhakt songs) this time chale chalo(chang) and lakshya (emon) again are not really patriotic songs... those are more inspirational songs... but dhol bajne laga 😕

except prashant n puja's song the rest werent sung in the previous seasons and other talent hunts in patriotic theme round. surprisingly this time nobody is singing the more popular common patriotic songs ...dil diya hai (karma), kar chale hum fida, mera rang de basanti, vande mataram (ar rahman).

may be she has chosen the song jus coz she can sing it better...... n i didnt find her that verstil in her song selection as puja, she even avoides to sing dificult songs quite similar to ankita.
