Ahem ok its a quick one.Ive just thought of it so pls dont kill me for it being a little amateurish

They say you pick friends not family

A true friend touches your heart and you dont figure it out systematically

I know my friends will always be there for me

Because they've made it quite clear to see

That they will never desert me

I know you'll give me a shoulder to cry on

I know i can talk to you from dusk till dawn

You've given me a present i prayed for

A friend who judges me not

I know i'll never be able to repay the favour

But your friendship i will savour

My friend-im proud to call you

You've choosen me as your dearest few

I'll be there when you need a hand

I'll be there when the mountains turn into sand

Friends are made to fill in the empty places of our hearts,
They are made to do that when the friendship starts.
True friends will talk to you everyday,
They will be with you and forever to stay.

Some family you will find as best friend,
Then there will be no reason for that bond to end.
Sometimes you will find them really insane,
But there are no words that can explain.

For ever they will be your friend,
They will stay by your side until the very end.

Friends are everywhere just look around,
When you look long enough they will be found.
They are people you shouldn't betray,
If you do that to much they will not stay.

They will go away and you'll no longer have a friend,
Then you will know how it feels in the end.
Then you go back and try again,
To look for a similar friend.

Then you go do something no one has done,
Then you laugh about it and have some more fun.
You asked me if we were still friends and I said never,
That we were friends for ever.
