What Raman heard-- misheard

After she finished thundering at him in Tamil and hit him with the rolled sheaf of divorce papers and he in turn reacting a little aggressively at the start but she continuing in her tirade oblivious of the surrounding public staring at themr --and then going on to burst her hitherto dammed feelings to say

I love you Raman---

He was taken aback and in that fleeting moment he conveyed without acting -- that his jaw fell,his eyes got locked in a shocked stare,his lips parted and his stance was that of a man who couldn't believe it was happening because in that split second he thought he heard -- I love you -------Apna Gujarati Bhai Ki to Tay Tay phis ho Gayi-- then the director said something and he heard her repeat I love you Raman .This time he heard right and said the three magic words in a daze -- the director wondered how he managed to say I Love You just as a man in Raman's position would in real life.Little did the director know what he had actually heard rather misheard.
