Sunday Driver | Dance Away The Blues
Music is one way to elevate one's mood. And what better way to start a Sunday than put on some great music, whatever makes you feel happy and waltz around your house. Just be careful you don't carry a cup of coffee like I do, unless of course, you are adept at handling that while twirling around just like a village belle is able to handle a water pot filled to brim without spilling it en-route from well to the house.
So yeah, when I looked at these pictures, I put on some great music by Strauss (The Blue Danube Waltz) or Tchaikovsky (The Swan Lake Waltz) and immersed myself in a dream that is surreal. Me and my cup of coffee, in my minuscule apartment moving from room to room (of course as one room is too small to go beyond a couple of steps) to the music that is like a breeze. Yes, some breeze has finally arrived in Mumbai and it is not balmy but cool.
So, the romanticism of it all is something one loves to find oneself in. One only feels the music, dimming the sounds from across the building of drill working away and cutter of a carpenter or the hammer on nail, some horns from down below, someone ringing the prayer bells (at noon??). Whatever. One enjoys being in this moment.
Don't you all feel the same when you look at these pictures?
Recommended view is with either The Blue Danube Waltz, The Swan Lake Waltz or of course your choice of music. We can also recommend Tango from Scent of a Woman as a background music.
Happy Sunday.
