Well heres a new topic that we can all discuss
Raavan and Mandodri were deeply in love from a very young age they both were attracted to each other their first few meetings. Please comment on the following questions if possible
What do u think about Raavan was Mandodri attracted to?.
Mandodari was attracted to the exuberant persona of Dashgriva He came across as one who exuded authority and manhood . What do u think about Mandodri was Raavan attracted to?
Ravan was said to be a man who loved challenges in his life. Mandodari was one of them. She challenged him in a way no one had ever dared to. She came across as a very different person who was not scared or taken aback by his personality and one who had confidence in herself to make any man crave for her. What do u think about the way their relationship turns out later?
Their realtionship was always good till the last.As per Ramayan and old scriptures he respected Mandodari as his wife. Ravan was a womaniser who had 100's of women in his palaces but he respected Mandodari the most and only she enjoyed the status with him that none of of his other queens did. The only time when he did not listened to Mandodari was when he abducted Sita and threatened her to marry him What do u think about Raavan ignoring the prophecy which says that by marrying Mandodri he would be inviting his own destruction?
It was not merely out of his love but his promise to May Danav and Lord Brahma's boon because of which he ignored divine prophecy. He was a man of his words. Do u feel that the way the actors are playing Raavan n Mandodri is doing justice to characters.
Ravan I am more than happy with. The artist has truly managed to bring out the essence of Ravana but with Mandodari I am a little disappointed. She does not come across as one who truly personified what Mandodari was.Yet to see how NJ bring Ravan to life on screen Any other comments on the relationship
Well For one I feel that Ravana was a good person but just few of his mistakes completely overshadowed his good work. He worked for the upliftment of sub castes in his regime and he was a doting father and a good husband to his wives. His realtionship with his entire family is worth applauding as he fufilled his each role with sincerity. Although therte is doubt in the way they have potrayed Mandodari and Ravana in the initial episodes but legends suggest that he treated Mandodari as his friend
