Shame on Amir - the ultimate hypocrite BW actor.

He keeps chanting moral lectures to everybody but in reality he is the most obsessive and most insecure khan out there.

He is a step above fudging the number by bullying others to increase ticket prices , on the other hand he said all 200Cr films fudged number so 3Idiots and D3 are also fudged 😆

hiking 10-15% at premiere multiplex is normal .everyone do that .But who hikes at single screens?

having said that it is gonna be dist/exh loss ..nobody wants to miss a RH movie

Err... Even if this true doesn't everybody do this.You would think that Aamir has committed a heinous sin.

My friends back in India haven't said anything of this sort. They say that the prices are as they normally would be for any release.

Here both the movie theater owners and amir no one is innocent. Both are vying for looting the viewers . Normally movie theaters normally sale ticket of such movies through black like a ticket price of 50 for say 150 by claiming as houseful at ticket counter and black marketer amir want to eat away that money from the movie owner, both are vying to loot public. This is the true face of our heros ,

i can recall a scene where amir doing black marketing in rangeela , here he may be trying for organised black marketing . Bichara garib black marketer 😆

When they say there won't be any ticket price hike, they mean there won't be any. Not a penny more than the other Khan movie's ticket price.

This chalu khan trying to be more chalu from other khans. In single screen officially ticket price is fixed due to some rule or may be due to public objection. Normally owner in such halls sale tickets in black market on release of any famous movie. Amir khan want money from that which is bone of contention between the two .

just like hall like in galaxy they will show housefull board at ticket counter for 4 to 5 days and sale almost say 90% ticket in black just like 10 ka 30 is 50 ka 150. Amir try to make it white by saying lets both will loot , Amir trying to start it now , which i think other khans did not. They will follow the same . 😆

Maratha Mandir owner Manoj Desai upset by Vinod Chopra over hiked PK ticket prices, refuses to release the film in single screens

Three of the oldest and most strategic single-theatres in Mumbai have decided to forgo the grand privilege of releasing the film of the year'.

We're talking about Raj Kumar Hirani's PK. Regular patrons of Gaiety-Galaxy and Maratha Mandir (the latter being the venue for Dilwale Dulhaniya Le Jayenge for 1000 weeks now) will be deprived of watching the Aamir Khan-starrer.

Reason? Producer Vidhu Vinod Chopra wants a substantially increased price for the film which means a hike in the ticket rates of nearly a 100 per cent for the theatres.

Manoj Desai, the owner of the three theatres, says, "That's right we're not releasing PK. The reason is Mr Vinod Chopra is demanding an unreasonable price. We've been trying to reason with him for three days. But to no avail. So now I have no choice but to reluctantly move on. We're screening Telugu film Lingaa instead."

Does Desai regret not screening PK? "This is one business that goes on regardless of the films that come and go. Mr Chopra doesn't think so. He told me, Dekho tum kitne nuksaan mein jaate ho'. But I firmly believe no one loses out by not releasing one film. I tried to reason with him. But he's blinded by the impending success of PK." he says.

In any case Desai thinks it's time someone belled the cat. "Someone had to take a stand. It's painful to see films starring the Khans being pitched at double the normal price. These people should understand that you need to chew on food a little at a time. If you gobble it up all at once you get indigestion. I'd just like to remind them no one is infallible. And no one's shop closes down just because one customer walks away."

Desai feels Aamir with his image of man of the masses' should not be a part of this practice. "Aamirji does a show about the nation's conscience like Satyamev Jayate. It is saddening to see him talk like this."
