Yes now Shaurya and Nithya are same. Believed dead by the world, but yet alive. They both want each other. Sakshi had given Shaurya the perfect protection if only he would listen to her. No he wont. Because he want Nithya. The girl who has eluded him for long. The girl on whom he couldn't win the bet.

Yes he raped Payal to avenge her but still she is that enigma the great Shaurya Goenka couldn't take. Yes he couldn't take Nithya for a night and without taking her he cannot go, cannot go anywhere precisely. She is his weakness that vulnerablility you know a person's last frontier. He has to get her. The woman who was always protected by Maa Durga

And Nithya she tried everything. She even became Durga to get him. He eluded her. Infact she couldn't punish him. He was also protected equally well. By his mother Sakshi Goenka.

While Shaurya has decided to disobey his mother and go after his lust, Durga was also seen telling for the first time I lost trust in Maa Durga. She didn't give me justice.

In a way both the children have let go of their mothers protection. They are on their own, they are gonna meet.

If Shaurya is darkness and Nithya is light the medium that brings light through the darkness is Payal. Both want her now. If Shaurya wants her as a bait to get Nithya, Durga wants to keep her away from Shaurya.

Now it is the final battle. Battle of 2 equals. Both Shaurya and Nithya are headstrong in their own way. They both want to win. win at any cost. They both are decision makers have their own mind.

They both are goal oriented, doesn't look around to see how their behavior affect others if they set their mind on something.

Whether it is Shaurya's bet or Nithya's slap they both were impulsive. Just like Shaurya doesn't care about what his parents or anyone else feel about his bet and decide to backout, Nitya too refuse to come out of her identity as Durga irrespective of seeing danger multiple times for Payal, Dev and even when Dr Dayal gets killed. She still wants vigilant ways than the justice via the court.

They are 2 faces of same coin and in the battle only one can survive. Waiting to see that last showdown.

the only difference being both of them in similar situtaion is this that durga is on the path of righteousness and shaurya on his own destruction!!

finally good will prevail over evil.

Thanks Megha. From day one I had loved the strong personalities of the heroine and anti- hero. And the tagline of the show " Poora Kolkatta janta hai Sakshi Goenka ko, Lekin poori duniya jaanti hai Maa Durga ki taquat ko"I had always wondered how the tagline is gonna be justified. It clearly says the one and only force that can defeat Sakshi Goenka is Goddess Durga herself. No other can defeat the mother in Sakshi Goenka. So more than the battle of Durga Vs Shaurya , it was also the battle of 2 mothers trying to protect ward at any cost. Something like the divine power herself battling it out with a human. And she the supreme power herself finding it a tough battle to a woman on earth because of the strong protective instinct she has for her son. That's why we see luck coming Durga's way many times. It is the divine power protecting her daughter. In the show Nithya/Durga is treated as Maa Durga's child due to her staunch devotion for whom everytime the Goddess comes to her in various forms. And it was one of the things that had fascinated me about the show also. In part 1 of the story Maa Durga lost to the mother in Sakshi Goenka. And this time the mother in Sakshi Goenka is gonna lose to the supreme power finally.

You are right.

Both share many similarities. Greatest being believed to be dead by the world.

But Shaurya left his protective force behind. His mother. Whereas Durga still has faith in Maa Durga. Shaurya lost faith in his maa. Durga has issues but has not lost faith.

Shaurya will lose now with one reckless action. He will be caught red handed, with no one to protect him.

The show also upheld that you need to have faith. Once you lose faith or think it is YOU who is doing everything by self, then you lose.

Shaurya's "main main main" always got him in trouble. It will finally take him down.

I am actually glad he deceived his mother. He was always the ultimate undoing of Sakshi Goenka.

same here. i loved durga for being different from all the similar heroines we see in daily soaps and the first promo was good too. it looked interesting and made sure u atleast give it a try.

sakshi v/s durga was the real battle right from the start. it was just that she lost as nitya in the first round because she wasn't aware of their evil self but durga knew them inside out and was emotionally stronger then nitya and therefore she was able to defeat sakshi and the co coz she had seen them exert their power and influence before , knew exactly who their friends are and the 2 year time period was good enough for her to plan her moves which were sloppy and failure at times but in the end she did managed to win.

god i am gonna miss this show. it indeed was different despite all it's flaws!!

well said..a diff between them is tht durga always remained true to her mentor, dayal and shaurya always untrue to his mentor, sakshi...dayal has always guided durga and she has always valued it..and shaurya is her anti-thesis in this context..
