As the topic states- Which is the Greatest, most moving Love story you have seen?

It could be HW or BW.

1.) For me: Brokeback Mountain-NOTHING prepares you for the aching, glorious, sad beauty of this human tale of Love where the pair of lovers, just happen to be male. For me, this is the most heart-wrenching Love story to be translated to, the silver screen.

Ledger's best performance, for which he really really should've got an Oscar & not just a nomination. 😡

2.) Eternal Sunshine Of The Spotless Mind- So real, heart-twisting & a bit surreal. Beautiful, beautiful Love story.

3.) Sadmaa- It was a legit SADMAA you go through after watching this movie. Esp the climax. 😭

4.) In recent times- Highway. A movie of many parts, many themes with an unlikely love. Much like Brokeback Mountain.

5.) Gone With Wind- EPIC, SWEEPING Love. One of the greatest Love stories. Rhett Butler is one of the greatest heroes to be brought to Life.

6.) Lamhe- A love that spanned a generation. It was under-stated & nice. Loved Anil Kapoor here.

Special mentions- UP, Jodha-Akbar, Before Sunrise & Before Sunset, Sweet Home Alabama, Amar Prem, One Day, Prem Rog, Casablanca, Roman Holiday, 10 Things I Hate About You, The Proposal, Two Weeks Notice, Sound Of Music, Pretty Woman

Your choices?

Veer Zaara.

Not only two different religion but two different countries as well. And they didn't marry someone other.

Yes it was a very nice movie. But somehow their great love failed to connect with me.

I can connect through it. I've seen many inter religious and inter-country marriages
But inter-religious and inter country both in one story never actually.
