Half Bloods happen to be the powerful!!

Half-blood wizards are not Muggle-born, but their heritage includes one or more Muggle ancestors. Half-bloods are the most common kind of wizard (Rowling has stated that of the Hogwarts annual intake, 50% are half-bloods), especially as magical folk would have dwindled to extinction without marrying Muggles. Half-bloods include people that have one parent who is either a Muggle or a Muggle-born and have one who is a wizard/witch. Blood purity fanatics regard half-bloods as inferior wizards, though they think of half-bloods as superior to Muggle-born wizards. Albus Dumbledore and Lord Voldemort are two of the most important half-blood characters, and they are also two of the most powerful. Harry Potter is also a half-blood.

While Lord Voldemort is a half-blood, he desires blood purity in the wizarding world. The irony in this is notably similar to Adolf Hitler's hatred of Jews, as most sources indicate the Hitler was partially of Jewish descent

it seems as though many whose fathers are pure-bloods n mothers are muggles have a gd life but voldy n snape who have muggle fathers n pure blood mums have troubled childhoods

n yeah Voldy and Snape and even Harry and DD had troubled pasts...Voldy hated his family his orphanage, Snape had a miserable dad 😡 😭 , Harry lost his parent 😭 😭 😭 and DD never could express his love for his family in time 😭 😭
