Are HM's dumb or scared?

So,

I feel like if there is one person in the big boss house who is like a BOSS himself, it is Puneet. He is like the don of some mafia gang, and all the housemates are literally intimidated by him ( except for KArishma for which I say more power to her), scared of him, under his influence, or try and go against him but come back whimpering in no time, and some revere him like he's the real deal.

Puneet, so far has been the least likeable contestant, because of his absolutely vicious and malicious ways of talking about every housemate. He has no positive quality so far, and has only been shown plotting, planning, bitching, and abusing people physically and verbally. He himself is not loyal to ANYONE on the show, not even his chela Gautam. Yes, he played a fantastic game earlier, but right now, he's not even playing, he is simply demanding a sort of influence and power on the show, where I feel housemates are scared of him and they don't bother going against him, because he can really demean someone and yet manage to be protected by the BB team. After all, he has gone out thrice and come back again and again. Also, he is one of the participants who has gotten the most lee way in terms of wrong doings. Everyone is pulled up, but he is the least pulled up contestant so far, despite being the worst.

Now, Gautam in comparison, as much as I dislike him too, is not in the same category as Puneet. Gautam doesn't have even half the devious mind that Puneet has, nor is he THAT smart in situations and controlling people. I consider Gautam a little dumb in that case and I don't think he is the real threat in the house to other HM's. Gautam is heavily influenced by Puneet, but, he is not as malicious as him. BUT all the wrath from the HM's continuously goes to Gautam, instead of Puneet. Whether it is Pritam, Praneet, Upen, Sonali, Ali, etc, they all go batshit crazy with Gautam, but not one (except Karishma) dares to speak against Puneet or argue with him. Pritam tried, and the next thing we know, he has come back into the don's arms like a lost puppy.

Sab ki heropanti Gautam ke saamne nikalti hai, but Puneet ke saamne sab ki fatt jaati hai. Whereas it has always been Puneet who has played dirty and cheap games, who has most abused people and bitched about them. Yes, Gautam is an implicit partner, but if one sees, he is not THAT abusive and vicious. He agrees to papa punz, but papa punz is the main person who DRIVES most of the hate campaigns. So why are housemates always directing their anger towards Gautam? Like in today's case, Upen going berserk over Gautam? Whereas, all the dirty names are called by Puneet to Karishma, it is Puneet who plots the nominations like a pro and it is him who drives the trend of hating or liking someone in the house.

Is it because housemates are so dumb they don't see the real face behind Gautam? Or are they intimidated by Puneet and fear him due to his invincibility on the show and his influence and power in BB? Or is it that Gautam's popularity ( which they don't understand) makes them so insecure that all the hate comes out on him?

But, I think everyone has to agree that, despite people hating on Gautam, one thing is pretty darn clear : In terms of being vicious, almost evil, and being the biggest plotter and abuser on the show, hands down it is

True punit is the worst guy among them
He hates people who speak against him , and never let go
I think it's because of this the hm s don't mess up.with.him because he goes to a different tangent all together

Yesterday for example.he lied , about Sonali , Ali , he never forgived pritam , all of them realised it, had he been confronted the would have reacted creating a bigger mess
I think pandit play ed a clever game here , praising Puneet he made him accept it was his interpretation and not sonali's words

Frankly I hope these hms wake up and give back to him , but I don't see that happening cos no one wi'll support

True every word. That's possibly my only reason to like Karishma is because she isn't scared of him and gives him back good. I am waiting for when someone else takes up on Puneet.

And for me the highlight would be if Gautam takes up on him one day. Although, that seems almost next to impossible as of now.

Wish all hm's get together and isolate the guy. Will give it to him for playing a dirty game and that too so well, but it cannot be without having some power over the team by influence or money. He would have been chucked out a long time ago otherwise.
