Thank you, my Parud genie. I love this scene because here Parud are exactly what they pretend to be man and woman going to be married.

Rudra's annoyance at how far this charade has come along is so clear until he looks at Paro through the veil. Her eyes ask if he really thinks she is guilty of all the things he accuses her off and will proceed with his punishment. His eyes are almost apologetic as they reveal that at this point he is put of options and has to let things fall into place on its own.
They both wonder what will it happen if they end up together. Would it be so bad to continue looking into each other's eyes when the veil is removed.
Both of them know its not personal. She is fighting for her belief that the man whom her entire village revered is not a crook. And he is trusting his BSD honed instincts that the man has hood winked everyone even if he can't prove it.
She accepts that the man staring into her eyes is a good man and steps forward to help. And he accepts that the innocence radiating from her is from her pure heart and lets her help graciously.
