her husband has tried numerous times to make her understand but she doesnt listen to him but I think once they know about the case and the reason behind it he will be very stern and then Amma will be running like a chicken with a head cut off

How hard was it to tell Sags that he bought this saree for Amma as it is her birthday. Sags would have understood as she is not an attention-seekign freak like his amma who would start throwing tantrums , but assuming even if she was going to throw tantrums, then also he should be man enough to take a stand of what is right. How much money and energy will he keep on spending in order to keep pleasing these women?

Normally, when a couple is married they give gifts in their family / social circle as a couple and not as individuals. So why didn't Bunty include Sags while selecting Amma's gift or at least keeping her informed of what he was planning to give.

Amma is loud about ' hamara bunty - hamara bunty', but ideally this gift should have been from both Bunty and Sags.

Precap is good. I liked the way Sags has asked him to take a stand.

I agree with you completely. He should have consulted with Sags and told her I am getting a Saree for Amma and then they both should have gone to her and gave her the gift but Bunty is too busy being a good son and totally forgetting about his role as a husband. A girl leaves her family and tries to adjust in the guys family. She gives up her old life. A guy can atleast take care that she is accepted in his family and do whatever to make her comfortable. But Bunty is getting a big F in that department

Yes the situation might escalate and finally the case is taken to court if Bunty doesnt start taking a stand. Atleast he can be on the side of whats right. He knows his mom is behaving childishly but he is taking it and letting Sagarika bear the brunt of it.
