i guessed that knowing that the story was going on one very popular gujarati movie(mahiar ni chundadi, starring rita bhadudi in lead) and hindi version was made of the same (starring rishi and juhi). In which story goes as mother dies and daughter is born- father is calling her apshaguni and stepmom is ill treating her.-she finally gets married and the father's fortune leaves as her bidai is going on.-As maya says there is no cure for vahem the motherinlaw starts treating her bad and she dies in the end. Very sad movie indeed. I watched the original gujju version of it and must have cried most of the movie. i hope the TV drama has some happy ending to it. Aruna Irani is the producer of this serial and she was a big Gujarati star in her days so i guessed the corealtion of the story and might have gotten the inspiration for the story.

Sounds like an intesting movie!!..i guess they r getting the ideas from tht movie
