I really want Urmi to marry Ishaan not annu because Shaurya really deserves a good and loving father figure. and i believe this show really needs to show that marriage is not all about hardship and suffering it is also possible to get a happy ending. i believe just because we want urmi to gain her independence that doesn't she should live her life all alone. As far as Annu is concerned she is not in love with Ishaan its just childish infatuation nothing more CV should just get another story for her where they can introduce another guy for her not Ishaan.

No he's not. Ishaan was Samrat's friend from since childhood.

I've always harped on about Urmi enjoying her independence first 😆 to be honest, she hasn't really been able to enjoy a moment of peace & all of this must be mentally exhausting. So if they show Urmi's re-marriage, it shouldn't be any time soon. There's no need to rush (IMO)

Of course Urmi shouldn't have to stay alone. She has every right to open a new chapter in her life with a man that deserves her love...& respects her for who she is. But I would rather like an introduction of a new character. I quite like Urmi & Ishaan's friendship. Strictly my POV, folks. Don't throw tomatoes at me for it :)

I never said there is anything wrong in Ishaan :)
If the CVs want it, they will be together. I was just expressing my views, that's all

I would like to see Urmi and Ishaan together because he truely understands what Urmi has been through and his love and sensitivity will not only heal Urmi but will finally give her happiness in life.

Of course, I would also like that, but first Urmi becomes independant & proves how a woman can be hard-working also... then I don't mind, I guess.😛

With all due respect I can't support this storyline.

I completely agree that after a terrible marriage, messy divorce and all the hardships that Urmi has faced she deserves peace and another chance at life and happiness. I also agree that Shaurya is a young child and as all small children, needs a good father figure/role model.

While I respect where you are coming from I see it a little differently. IMO the show's message or concept is really focusing on Urmi - how she finds herself in an abusive marriage, finally garners the strength to stand up for herself and fight back. The maker of the show in an interview recently indicated that the social message or original concept of the show is that no woman should put up with infidelity which is why Urmi's breaking point was when she found out he was cheating on her. IMO she should have let him rot in jail after he beat her up - not saying one crime is less heinous than the other but at last in the case of infidelity she wasn't fearing for her life.

In any case we now see Urmi fighting back and trying to live life on her own terms - its also highlighting the true facets of indian society - where there is almost no support from her maternal family, societal norms are given more preference than the well being of their own child etc.

While I too want Urmi to lead a better life - I don't want re-marriage to be the only definition of "a better life" If Urmi wants to fall in love and give marriage another chance - that should be her choice. If Urmi chooses to raise Shaurya on her own with the help of the Tiwari's or moves elsewhere and runs her baking business - so be it.

My issue or resistance to the Urmi - Ishaan love angle is not because Ishaan is bad but its because of the underlying message that is sent out. What would that be saying? A woman ALWAYs needs a male companion to latch on to, in order to lead a better life?
Why does marriage have to be the only solution? Why can't men and women be platonic friends - why can't that be acceptable to the audience?

If Urmi does get romantically involved Id like to see that after considerable time alone - and then meet a new character who is progressive, mature and sensitive. I'd like to see how he works with her and helps her overcome her fear of marriage (assuming her current marriage has scarred her). If they do show this angle i want it to be handled with sensitivity.

Just my 2 cents.
