The third angle is absolutely unnecessary. The current storyline could have offered so much more suspense and drama if they had started the nawab murder track along with Saahil turmoil. In the meanwhile they could have shown Rehan's melancholy upon learning the truth about the swap and Sunehri/Seher's intentions regarding assisting Razia. That way the makers could have focussed on Saahil, Aahil, Sehan, Rehan, Sunehri's redemption to make herself a better person and most importantly Haya/Tanveer/Sanam/Seher takkar. Thus, KV, Surbhi Chandna, and Shehzaad Sheikh could have also played pivotal roles in the show and its main storyline.
Rehan while brooding over the thought of giving Sunehri a second chance could have engaged in conversations with Sanam through which he could have found out regarding Tanveer's lies i.e. the lies which Aahil was fed with regarding the nawab's murder. Thus, Rehan could have gotten involved in the track. He knew Tanveer's real intentions and therefore he would have been the first one to believe Sanam.
Aahil on the other hand, would have been in a state of shock and disbelief regarding his childhood (i.e. he never murdered the nawab, but Tanveer his beloved ammi did).
Instead of the Rahat Haya Faiz crap, the makers could have focussed on Haya coming to know of everything that has been revealed to Sanam and Sunehri by Dilshad. After all, her mom Najma was also murdered by Tanveer along with her grandfather Mr. Rashid Ahmed Khan. Now that Haya has got her voice back, she should be just as involved in the revenge track. While engaging in conversations with Sanam and Sunehri at Ibrahim Mansion, she can also come across Rehan who is her step brother. Thus, the cvs could have focused on the Rehan-Haya sibling revelation track by showing their interactions.
Jaha tak nawab murder track ka sawal hai, I must say that the cvs have shown many bloopers whenever Aahil and Tanveer had flashbacks of the murder. Initially, when Aahil was introduced, he was shown having flashbacks of him standing in a dark room and dropping a revolver on the floor upon a bullet being fired from it and then Tanveer came to the rescue and hugged him tight while he looked on in fear at the person (his abuser i.e. the nawab) who eventually dropped on the floor. The next flashback of Aahil showed that Tanveer hugged him and told him that she will take the blame upon herself and then she was shown being handcuffed and dragged by the police since she confessed that she committed the murder thus proving Aahil's innocence.
Later, when Tanveer was shown confronting Rehan, she went into a flashback. In the flashback it was shown that she woke up a sleeping Aahil in his room and simply told him that you murdered your dad by pointing to the revolver that was kept in his hand. Aahil just looked at it in horror and questioned, "How can this be?" Before this flashback, Tanveer had a flashback of her argument with nawab Raza Ibrahim who found out about her real intentions regarding stepping into Ibrahim Mansion for money in order to raise her fatherless son Rehan who was kept in an orphanage. The nawab in the flashback told her that he would remake his will to transfer everything in Aahil's name so that Tanveer and her son can never get any access to his wealth. Tanveer was enraged and she murdered the nawab in his sleep like a professional serial killer without any disparities in her gaze and body language even though she was blind at that time. Upon murdering him she took out all the jewellery from the nawab's locker like she could see every inch of the jewellery pieces and cash. After looting everything, she went to Aahil's room and kept the revolver in his hand. (When Tanveer was shown entering Ibrahim Mansion for the first time after her marriage with the nawab, she was being extra sweet to the nawab's children and this made aahil's badi ammi suspicious of her intentions. Sooner or later, his badi ammi came to know of Tanveer's real intentions and she hid the nawab's new will in the graveyard where Sanam was attacked later on. Tanveer also came to know of badi ammi's suspicion and she made sure that Aahil's badi ammi became paralyzed just like Dilshad became paralyzed upon having a glimpse of Tanveer).
Later on (right before Sanam reached the Kohinoor launch party), she came across Aahil's diary which said that on the day of the nawab's murder (the date and time of murder was mentioned in the newspaper article which she found in the storeroom) Aahil was locked up in the storeroom at 7 a.m. on the day of eid and no one has taken him out yet. In addition, Aahil mentioned that he wasn't given any food so he doesn't know how he is feeling right now and his dad hits him whenever he goes near his new-found ammi.
If we go by Aahil's diary, it means that Aahil was in the storeroom till 7:00 a.m. while the murder took place at 5:00 a.m. Therefore, Aahil clearly had no memories of seeing his father's dead body immediately after the muder and neither did he witness the murder.If this is indeed the case, then "HOW THE HELL did he (a 10/11 years old kid) believe Tanveer's allegations thrown at him?" How and when did Tanveer put the revolver in his hand while he was fast asleep? Was it after he was taken out of the storeroom? If so, then how do the previous/initial flashbacks of Aahil make sense? He always saw himself dropping the revolver and his father collapsed to the ground. This is how Aahil thought of his past initially when he was introduced. Later on, when he told Sanam about the murder after releasing all the balloons, he was shown to believe in the second flashback wherein the revolver was simply placed in his hand by Tanveer causing him to be devastated.
I personally think that the initial flashbacks make more sense wherein Aahil thought he fired a bullet and dropped the revolver while tanveer came running to him to take all the blame upon herself. Later on during the Tanveer/Rehan confrontation scene at the graveyard, they could have shown in Tanveer's flashback that she (although couldn't see but heard Aahil threatening his dad that he would fire if his father decided to hit him again...he could have been agitated and decided to threaten his father with the revolver which he might have found in a nearby side table's drawer after his father hit him and pushed him hard causing his head to hit against the drawer which was open and contained a revolver) found Aahil pointing the revolver towards his dad with a finger on the trigger (but he never pressed it)...and Tanveer took advantage of the situation by firing a bullet while standing behind him in the dark room which Aahil obviously couldn't see as he was too focused on stopping his dad from coming near. When Tanveer pressed the trigger, Aahil became shocked and flabbergasted so he dropped the revolver in fear and that is when Tanveer decided to blackmail him emotionally by telling him that it is her fault and she would go to jail just to save him. This flashback scenario makes more sense as this is the only LOGICAL way for Aahil to believe that he committed the murder when he was a kid. If we go by this scenario, then later on it becomes illogical for Sanam to find his diary where he had written that his dad locked him up in the storeroom till 7 a.m. (while the actual murder took place at 5;00 a.m. as mentioned by the article which sanam found in the newspaper lying in the storeroom). Instead of showing Sanam finding a diary, they could have shown her walking by the hall, coming across Aahil's badi ammi's room and thus witnessing Billi boasting about her past crimes and the pending victory of acquiring all of the nawab's property to Aahil's paralyzed badi ammi in her room. This is how Sanam could have found out how that Billi made Aahil seem like a culprit before his own eyes. In an attempt to make billi confess her crimes, she decides to confront Billi at the Kohinoor launch.
When she confronts Billi and questions her about the nawab's murder and Aahil's guilt with a passion, Billi confesses while Sanam presses the record button present in her touch screen phone. However, as soon as Sanam threatens to spill the beans to Aahil, Billi laughs and says that sanam has got no proof against her. Regardless of Sanam not having any solid evidence (which is what Billi thinks) against Billi, Billi threatens that she would kill Aahil if sanam mouths the words of crime confession to him. Hearing this, Sanam becomes torn between two sides...to save Aahil's life by keeping him in the darkness or to fullfil her duty by telling him the truth and setting him free of guilt. After giving it a thought she chooses to keep silent. When she goes up on stage, she becomes further silenced by the gunman pointing a rifle in the direction of aahil from the top. Therefore she decides to use the recording later in the future when Tanveer will not pose any threats to aahil's life.
Moments later, the swap takes place. Sunehri replaces sanam but she feels horrible for doing so as she is good at heart. She keeps trying to enquire about Sanam's whereabouts from razia but Razia chooses not to divulge any further details to the girl due to her fear of becoming exposed. As days go by, Aahil finds the supposed Sanam's behavior weird and Sunehri feels restless (as sanam is in trouble and they are twins who share a telepathic connection) to help Sanam out upon witnessing Aahil's affection for her (even though she doesn't know that Sanam is her sister-----this way we could have seen their telepathic connection as well as the humane side of Sunehri as a person...not Sunehri as someone's sister/lover/girlfriend, but Sunehri as a person). In between we can also see aahil restless as he feels Sanam is in trouble although she is present right before him (he had this telepathic connection with Sanam before the graveyard scene). Then comes the day where Aahil asks Sunehri (supposedly Sanam) to marry him and Sunehri runs to Razia to refuse. Sunehri then comes across Rehan and Rehan tells her (thinking she is Sanam) that he wishes to wipe out all of Sunehri's memories. Upon hearing this, she gets emotional (as shown in Qubool Hai) which surprises Rehan. Feeling dejected, Sunehri decides to go with Razia's plan and gives her approval to Aahil (not through that video clip---the videoclip will remain hidden to Sunehri and it will contain Sunehri and Razia's conspiring conversations to acquire Aahil's property. She instead decides to give her approval face to face) at first but later at night she is shown walking around contemplating on her sudden change of heart.
Sunehri feels like a terrible person for choosing greed over Rehan and deciding to betray him for the second time. As she criticizes her own actions in a soliloquy, she gets flashbacks of her and rehan drunk when rehan told her, "aaj tak job hi mujhe mila hai..wo har ek insaan ne mera dil toda hai. Meri ammi bohot khudgarz hai. Wo paiso ke liye kuch bhi kar sakti hai. Kisi ko bhi istemaal kar sakti hai...mujhe bhi. Bas tumse ek guzaarish hai kit um mera dil mat todna. Tum bohot achchi ladki ho. Jab mai tumhaare saath hota hu to dil ko sukoon milta hai." At the end of the flashback, she comes to realize why Rehan is so unforgiving and now she is acting no different from his ammi who also betrayed him and she is worse than his ammi as she is betraying him for the second time for gaining access to his family's wealth. She then wishes to redeem herself by telling Rehan the truth and facing the consequences come what may. However, before she could tell Rehan anything, rehan becomes suspicious of her behavior (she almost ended up crying when Rehan told her about moving on and forgetting Sunehri) and decides to investigate. He then thinks back to the time when he stepped back into Ibrahim Mansion after the Kohinoor launch and saw Sunehri in the supposed sanam, In order to confirm his doubts he asks Lateef about Sanam and Lateef tells her that she must be in her room. Rehan thinks Sanam must be in aahil's room (that's where sanam was staying before the swap) and heads in that direction. Lateef then stops him and says that Sanam no longer stays in that room and she is now staying in khaala khaalu's room. This revelation gives Rehan more motivation to investigate. Rehan goes to the room and finds the property papers that say that everything will be transferred to Razia once Aahil signs them. Rehan also comes across that camera as he collides with the flower vase (where it was hidden by khaala and khaalu). He decides to watch the videoclip and gets the shock of his life. Rehan then decides to take it easy as Sanam's safety should be his first priority and in order to locate her he cannot let Razia or Sunehri know that the camera has spilled the beans. In a fit of rage he calls the police (same police officers who arrested Sunehri at the time of the proposal) and asks them for an appointment as he wishes to catch hold of Sunehri's arrest warrant (when she was arrested before) and her criminal record along with her picture. Rehan calls up Aahil and asks him to meet at Bhojpur Hill Station where he divulges all the details to Aahil. Aahil is enraged at first but Rehan calms him as otherwise Sanam's survival chances may be threatened. Rehan tells Aahil to confront Sunehri and make her confess the crime as he feels that Razia never coached her properly on how to behave like Sanam because that can only be the reason for her wird behaviour.
Aahil decides to take Sunehri to a secluded place and once there, he tells Sunehri many made-up stories and moments (which never even took place between him and sanam) just so that the impostor agrees with everything and justifies her behavior during those moments...and this way (if she agrees with all these made-up moments) he would know that it is not Sanam...and then he would reveal to her that these moments never even took place between them. As expected, Sunehri agrees with everything aahil tells her and her truth comes out. Aahil offers her a blank cheque and tells her to backstab Razia in return so that he gets sanam back while she can buy all the luxury that she has ever dreamt of. Sunehri decides to cooperate and then tells him that she doesn't know about Sanam's whereabouts. She however promises that she would do whatever it takes to con Razia into giving away sanam's whereabouts so that she can be traced. Aahil agrees and tells her that if she backs out or double crosses him, then he would ask the police to arrest her (he tells her that police has been informed but he isn't allowing them to arrest her as he wants sanam back and if she cooperates, she would get all the money without getting arrested and spending her life in jail). Sunehri gets intimidated and cooperates with the person who is more powerful. They all follow Razia without letting anybody in the house know. They can stretch this search for a few episodes with monologues of Aahil and Seher-Rehan takraar as a result of the second betrayal.
The following week, Sanam is found and razia is caught along with badi ammi. Razia is sent to jail while badi ammi begins to recover with therapy administered by specialists. We get Sehaan scenes and Seher's redemption begins. On the other hand, Sanam and Aahil spend quality time with one another causing Tanveer to become infuriated. Then comes the night of the party. Before Sanam reaches the party, Tanveer hits her on the head, makes her unconscious and tries to set her on fire by lighting her (gun-powdered dupatta as shown in Qubool Hai)...Dilshad sees this, comes to the rescue, extinguishes the fire and then waits for Sanam to regain her consciousness. Once she is in her senses, Dilshad tells Sanam, Sunehri, and Haya (who let's say reaches the party but ends up spending time with her newfound sister duo when she doesn't find them at the party and then goes back into the house to look for them) about Asya. The three sisters vow to take revenge like a Trimurti and sanam reveals to badi ammi that she will also set Aahil free by doing this as he has been shackled by Tanveer's lies about his father's murder. Badi ammi gives them her blessings and decides to stay by their side to guide them (let's say she doesn't leave. I don't think she should leave as she is an important character). Sanam-Sunehri and Haya decide that revenge will begin after Saahil nikaah. Sanam goes according to the plan and on the wedding night she tells Aahil the truth when they are in privacy. Aahil is in shock and disbelief. Sanam in reply tells him that it's not just Dilshad who knows about Tanveer's true colours, as his badi ammi also knew many years back that Tanveer only stepped into this house for money which is why she blackmailed Aahil into believing that he is his father's murderer. She also tells him that on that fateful night she was attacked by Tanveer's goons who wanted to catch hold of his dad's will which was hidden by his badi ammi in the graveyard. Aahil refuses to listen to her any further and then we can witness the angst between Saahil.
At the same time, Aasma comes back to Ibrahim Mansion as she is done medical college and is now starting her internship. Wedding preparations of azhar and Asma can begin during which asma will go to Aahil's badi ammi's room to seek her blessings. In the process, she realizes that badi ammi is being given medication which had expired long back and therefore will have no effect on the healing process. She decides to tell Sanam about this and Sanam and Asma decide to take the responsibility to heal aahil's badi ammi without letting anyone know...as aahil's badi ammi is the only one who can unveil Tanveer and her crimes to set Aahil free of the burden. The story goes from there...with Sanam, Sunehri, Aasma, Rehan and haya connecting with one another while planning revenge and sunehri redeeming herself...Rehan discovering the truth about his half sister haya and najma's murder...Aahil's suffering...Dilshad's prayers and Saahil's angst and turmoil. Later on Razia can come back to put the final nail in the coffin and take billo rani down. We can also have scenes where aahil goes to the dargah for peace and ends up colliding with the baba who knew Zoya and asad who used to come to the dargah very often. The baba can perhaps tell him a little about Asya...??
This is why I think the third angle is PATHETIC AND USELESS. The current storyline has so much potential and so many avenues that have not been explored yet. Sorry for my long post.
I am sorry for my rant and suggestions. I just wanted to vent out my frustration by suggesting some alternatives.
