Atlast a good issue.

I think the girl will be forced to turn a hostile witness under duress.. Or she maybe sent back.

Shiv did wrong by warning the husband.

Meenu is not so mindless to become what she is so suddenly. Sanchi's story is better than DB's antics.

I hope not.I think the police will catch them red handed. She will most likely be sent back to her village.
But then it should be taken up later on as to what forces gullible villagers to send their children off to cities like this.
-------------
I think more than Ira - Meenu relationship it is their own inherent insecurities that are surfacing now that are the cause for this rift between them.DB just played on those inherent insecurities and loyalty towards their respective husbands.I think now both have come to conclusion that their husbands are not entirely wrong and they decided to come out in support of their husbands instead.
Ira and Meenu are sensible enough and they will come back to their sensible selves.
Sanchi as usual doesn't seem to realise that she too has a role in all the things that went wrong in her marriage and she just told the family that Vivek has problems with her job and suspecting her of having an affair.
Only Anandi and Shiv are wondering what made Vivek to say these kind of things to Sanchi.

Shiv wanted to make sure that he was on the right path before he took action against that man. That's the reason he rang him up.
His wife told him what she heard from the girl and he wanted to find out for himself how much of it is true.
Neither of them act plainly on what is told by their spouses.
They have to act as soon as possible so that the offenders do not have time to conceal the evidence.
Anandi did act quite sensibly this time. She knew she is up against an IAS officer so she called up Shiv to inform about this before jumping in to do something.
Anandi of old would have taken away the kid and ran off in her josh to rescue the kid from the abuse.😛😆
Now she knows proper planning is required. She did come a long way😆

Jyoti's track is nice and well-handled. Finally, a good and well directed issue.
I too agree that Anandi did good by checking with Shiv and investigating matters before pointing fingers or running away with the kid.

It would be nice if CVs dig through why Jyoti's parents had to sell her off and punish them too along with Mandira and her IAS hubby.

--------

One loud disappointment with Anandi though:

What makes her to promptly take action against people like Mandira or that dance teacher (earlier), and sue them to police while favouring the likes of DB in the name of family's honour and happiness

In my opinion, drugging someone against their wish to the extent that the victim can take their own life or lives of others is an equal or bigger crime to buying a child labour and exploiting them.

How is DB better than Mandira, that DB's deeds are not even exposed to the family while Mandira has police at her door-steps? All thanks to Anandi (rather biased Anandi)

I guess it would not be wrong to conclude that Anandi is biased when it comes to family and protects them in the name of them giving them a second chance, while she does not give equal opportunities to other criminals who may also have the potential to change.

Here Jyothi is a victim who is helpless Mandira is abusing a child who is in a helpless situation.

DB's ire was entirely directed towards Anandi.
When ever Anandi had been at the receiving end she has chosen to forgive them and move on or in case of DB she has chosen to give her second chance.DB has never shown this kind of prejudice or hatred to anyother family member even if she threw barbs at people indiscriminately.
So far they don't know how DB is trying to break up family out of pure hatred towards her and her husband.
With Anandi this pattern has always been noted. If they have abused her she has forgiven them but whenever she saw strong people abusing weak ones who can't stand up for themselves she has stood up for them.
Sometimes she did go against family too if her family members were found to be violating the rights of the people from weaker section like the time when Basant and Gehna were falsely accusing a worker and his son.Or when she thought Sanchi was in the wrong and filed a case against Jagya.
She did go against family and Shiv also in that matter.
It's not because the offender is family member that's why she let off DB.
She stands up for people who don't have a choice but to put up with it.She has a choice either to take action against DB or not.She chose to give her a second choice.
It so happened in Anandi's life that all the people who caused/cause her problems happen/happened to be family members.
I think it's not the question of letting the offender getting away but it is the question of standing up for people who want to fight but no means to do so.

Aparna, it is not about who is the victim or who is at the receiving end.
It is about, how heinous the crime is and what should be the right thing to do on discovering that someone is a criminal?

If Anandi is ready to expose every other criminal she thinks was doing wrong, then why is DB safe from that exposure.

If giving someone a second chance is a good virtue then why didn't she give second chance to the dance teacher (DT), who had also accepted her mistake and was seeking forgiveness truly. After all, through her all those girls were earning and technically no one was suffering.

But this kind of act is socially, morally and legally wrong and such acts cannot be promoted even if the criminal is willing to change. That is why Anandi got her arrested.

Similarly, Anandi is getting Mandira arrested because what Mandira is doing is socially, morally and legally wrong.

She could easily give Mandira a second chance, by sending Jyoti back to her parents and by warning Mandira. Would Anandi do that? And would it be right if she did that? Then why is it right to give DB a second chance.

------

Coming to DB's protection: Anandi's motive behind hiding DB's act was purely on the lines of not hurting Daddu and bringing shame to the family's honour. This is as per what she told Shiv.

For Anandi, her family's emotions are way too important that she chooses to be biased.

Daddu's heart-attack is important, but never thought how Mandira's child would become parent less child.

For her, family's honour is so important but it appears that the likes of Mandira can be dishonoured.

The likes of Chanda's husband, Ratan Singh and DT are criminals because they committed a crime, but DB is family so she deserves a second chance.

Also if Anandi is happy to let go off people who have hurt her and are co-incidentally her family members then who exactly was she standing up while arresting Chanda's husband?
Chanda did request her to stay out her personal matters then why did Anandi interfere for Chanda's justice? Chanda didn't want one

And if this Anandi cannot stand up for the injustice done to her, then why should she be 'the world's saviour'

Bahus or family members do not report every crime / injustice that happens in the household. People often try to resolve matters in the family. However, if the so-called social worker is able to let go off a person who drugged her (which is a huge crime), then either she is biased or not fit to be a social worker.

Anandi wants everything hunky-dory for herself and her family so never reports anything, but is ever-ready to expose others.

I don't think Chanda would have told her family story and her married life to Anandi if she wasn't so miserable and wanted to be in that situation. The very reason that Chanda or way back Phooli when she landed her door step wanting her kid back opened up to her because they wanted to change the situation they are in but didn't know how to do it.
Chanda didn't tell her to stay out.She just needed help to handle the situation and Anandi provided the help.Anandi just took the police to tell her that law is on her side if she needs help. That was enough for Chanda to handle her husband.Chanda was ignorant about laws and she just gave her the proof that law protects her and what her husband is doing is unlawful.
She just helped Chanda by telling her that she has a support system.
Bhaili happened not just because Anandi wanted it but it happened because of those women wanted to change their lives and she provided the means for that through Bhaili.
-----------------
The question is about the right to do what one thinks is right for her/him.
Anandi was in a postion to punish DB or forgive her. She chose to forgive or rather give a second chance whether she was right or wrong time will definitely tell her.
It's not like she is sitting still allowing DB to feed her that drug or taking nonsense from her. After they had their talk with that lady she stopped bothering her.The head of the family loves that lady and apparently the lady also loves her brother very much and who is Anandi to spoil their equation?

I agree why writers hell bent showing Anandi like this
ever since this Jyoti track introduce I have same feeling ...if Anandi take action against Mr Mrs Sethi so quickly and her sixth sense her alertness but when it come her own family she becomes weak 😡 I hate this 😆 where is that Anandi who go against Tausa for justice and truth

Fine Anandi always let go people who directly cause her always took strong stand for others ... very rarely people take stand for other people esp those who can't take their own stand

I feel writers wanted DB to stay on hence she wasn't exposed fully during drug drama... now DB trouble entire KB all most divided into two group makes Daddu hurt sad weak physically mentally High time Anandi take strong action against DB becoz now its entire at receiving end not just Anandi herself.

I hope writers are giving this message only that Anandi keep quite let go DB since DB troubling Anandi only but now since Anandi who always put others happiness before herself will take action against DB and expose her fully.

*********************************************

having said this I still feel DB won't be exposed soon 😈 Writers simply love her. ...😆

my take KB will all most divide in two group high voltage drama and all...tadah Anandi's good news makes things happy 😃 all of them united for sake new arrival Anandi's health her wish entire family be together 😉

again DB will be fall flat but never been exposed.😡 DB again keep quite for some time try to find new bakra bakari in KB 😈

Esha - Talking about the dance teacher - who is Anandi to give a second choice to this dance teacher? Anandi was only a concerned third party.
Who are the victims of that dance teacher's acts? It was those gullible girls who came to her with hopes of a better future.
Did the girls come out and say that they want to forgive the dance teacher despite her pushing them into prostitution?
Why didn't the girls protest when the lady was arrested?
Same thing can be said about Mandira - Who is Anandi to forgive Mandira and give her a second choice? That should be Jyothi's decision.
----------------------
DB is motivated by hatred towards Anandi - and she gave her some substance which she did not know that it is illegal to buy that substance - law cannot punish DB because she is one of the many people who bought stuff from that seller. What DB did is an act motivated by hatred towards her and what law can be used to punish her?Throwing her out ? Is that an option?
