Praneet and his pseudo intelligence

Because his intelligence is just that! Fake and a sham!
In live feed before at night he would pretend to be supers smart and keep giving people gyan on rocket science and space and stuff.
But he didn't know the capital of Jharkand. He was surely an adult when Jharkand was founded. It was all over the news. For someone who prides himself on being so intelligent and updated with all the news he came across as such a phony.
His supporters don't start saying that he is smart with science and that doesn't mean that he should know about the nation. That is no excuse! Because as a citizen of our country it is necessary that he MUST know about his own country, that too events which have happened in his lifetime. If he doesn't know such basic facts then he should drop his 'oh so intelligent' act.
Tanna and Sonali didn't know anything but atleast they don't pretend to be smarter than everybody else.
If you want to judge Tanna and Alia Bhatt for not knowing the president then he must be judged for his stupidity too.
So much for his intelligent act! 😆

Edit: My bad! I meant to say knowledgeable and not intelligent. 'Praneet and his pseudo erudite'. Hope that's better. 😉
I have clarified below but the edit is because a lot of people can't seem to be bothered to read below and are harping on and on about intelligence vs knowledge. Or maybe they can read yet fail to comprehend the rectification.
His intelligence was not tested on WKV by Salman but his knowledge was. And his knowledge is obviously lacking.

🤔 🤔

So people who are intelligent and/or well-read know EVERYTHING in this world? And can recall EVERYTHING instantly...answer a question immediately out of the blue?

Don't see the connection...sorry! There is a difference between the two...intelligence and information/knowledge abt a subject.

P.S. - just curious! Can you quickly name all the dialects and languages spoken in the North-East...they are basic facts...since everyone should know everything about this country? 😃

Not knowing something is simply ignorance or forgetfulness, depending on whether he knew it before or not.

Being intelligent and being knowledgeable are completely different traits. There are a lot of people who are extremely knowledgeable but also extremely dumb and also the other way round.

I haven't seen the live feed and by watching the episodes I haven't had an impression that Praneet is particularly intelligent. But his not knowing some fact (no matter how trivial it is) has nothing to with someone's intelligence. He may be dumb but not knowing Jharkhand's capital has nothing to do with it.

agree! Intelligence and knowledge is totally different thing.
@TM well even i didn't know the answer to that actually.

Anyway my example of his gyan on space and India's space programs (he was talking aboy Mangalyaan) was about his pseudo air of being 'well informed' which he's obviously not.
His intelligence is yet to be seen but his knowledge is obviously lacking.

I can't name all the dialects for sure. But if a new dialect was added into the official list and it was in the front page of all the newspapers for days, that too when I was an adult, then I'll surely know it.
But then again I don't pretend it be intelligent or well informed.

Cmon! Jharkand becoming its own state was a big deal for India. Not knowing it is not acceptable. If you think that's acceptable then even Tanna's answers and Alia's on KWK must also be considered acceptable.
