saloni made me really angry today

we're far behind in the US so today i just saw the episode where piya refused to go home with nahar and brijesh and they disowned her.

the whole time saloni was babbling on about how she is just doing what any good wife would do (by staying with her abusive, alcoholic husband)...

WHAT? i thought this show was supposed to be EMPOWERING for women. i don't know what planet saloni is living on, but i am definitely not going to be among the wives she's talking about. i don't think it was right for brijesh and nahar to get so angry w/ piya, as she is behaving exactly how battered women always do, but saloni's behavior just infuriated me. this is not about whether or not piya is being a good wife, it's about whether her husband is being a good husband, which he isn't. women like saloni are the reason such men think they can get away with this rubbish 😡 sorry but her first priority should have been piya's safety, not her marriage.

i agree wid u so much....her brothers should have not done dat either. they should've helped her but pia has had enough....u can't alwayz support ur hasband cuz they are wrong too sometimes. i guess pia thinks he will be nice but if he doesn't she should leave him.

yes... sometimes even i fell saloni just interferes too much & forces her point of view over everyone. Brijesh always go overboard with his 'Rajput blood'.
i also find Saloni a bit irritating in Pia's case all along.

Saloni is trying to do good but She doesnt realise she is doing wrong herself...she hides all the things from her family and hubby saying when time comes she will tell...isnt it wrong of her...whatever be her relation with Pia it cant be bigger than pia's relation to Nahar and brij...and sal interfering will back fire on her as her concept is diff. to understand in this present world...

i agree with 100000%.. now if i make my hate list from SP then saloni's name comes on top.. i hate her too much these days..

actually saloniis wrong but saloni didn,t tell anything to brijesh cuz piya trusted saloni that,s why she told her and if someone trusts and tells something then u shouldn,t tell anybody cuz u broke the person,s trust and the person is never going to tell u anything again even if the person is in the biggest problem. i garee with u on the husband thing but then it was piya,s choice after all and now she has to stick with no matter what.

yupp piya was equally wrong in this.. i was so shockingly surprised when she refused to take help from her brothers but she took help from saloni's brother and he offered her job without even taking a formal interview then her self respect dint hurt ... it is something like as if some diabetic patients refused to take sugar in tea as he has diabtese but hogged on sweet plates ..what a double standard..
