Raj turns up the next morning and discovers to his great disappointment, that all the action has been done with before his arrival.
"Main filmi police ki tarah ban gaya hun", he remarks ruefully. "Sab kaam khatm ho jaane ka baad pahunch raha hun."
Armaan laughs and gives him a bear hug. Raj returns it rather absently.
Armu: (stepping back to look at him) Tu naraaz hai?
Raj: (indignantly) Toh nahin hu kya? Itne din akele iss problem se ladta raha, apne best friend par itna bharosa nahin tha ki ek phone kar deta?
Armu: Yaar, teri shaadi…..
Raj: Aise haalat mein main shaadi kar sakta tha kya?
Armu: Par ye problem main teri shaadi ki date se bahut pehle solve kar leta…issliye tujhe takleef nahin dena chahta tha…..
Raj: Badi achchi tarah solve ki problem….khud toh jail pahunch gaya aur Jassi uss Ashmit ke ghar mein! (Armu looks sheepish) Tu kya kidnapping ka side business kholne ki soch raha tha? Tujhe aur Jassi ko bachaane mein sabse bada haath Shaina ka hai…usse zara achchi si promotion aur raise de dena!
Armu: Wo toh main usse already promise kar chuka hun….aur by the way hume iss problem se nikaalne mein kuch contribution toh Meghna ka bhi tha…..aakhir uski ring kaam aa hi gayi!
Raj: Hmmm…..chalo uss mumbo-jumbo ko ek bhakt toh mila!
Ashmit is arrested for molestation and illegal detention of Jassi. Plus, the weavers file a case against him and the zamindar's great-grandson for forging the land papers and taking illegal possession of their land. It seems Shaina and Co. have unearthed a huge land scam in the state. All over Himachal, the authorities swing into action, checking the land deals made over the past few years. The government is forced to admit that outsiders have been illegally purchasing land in the state with the connivance of unscrupulous locals.
The grateful weavers readily enter into the deal with Gulmohur, and Jassi's dream of a Crafts Village in Kangra is set to be a reality.
But this is all in the near future. At the moment, Jassi's heart is longing to be back with her children.
"Armaan", she murmurs, playing with the buttons of his shirt, "Bahut ho gaya, chalo ab ghar chale. Mujhe Ashish aur Vedika ki bahut yaad aa rahi hai.."
Armu: (entwining her fingers in his and lifting her chin with his free hand) Mujhe bhi….lekin waapas jaane se pehle, unke liye koi gift ready karna chahiye…
Jassi: Jaise??
Armu: (winking) Unke liye ek baby sister ki tayaari—kaisi rahegi?
Jassi: (pushing him away) Armaan Suri! Aisa kuch nahin hone wala! Hamari family complete hai….aur itne din 2-2 bachcha sambhaal ke ab tumhe bhi pata chal gaya hoga ki family chalaana kitna mushkil hai?
Armu: (sighing comically) Don't ask!
He gives her a detailed description of his travails in being a single dad for a few days. Jassi is helpless with laughter. "Ab pata chala Armaan Suri….bachcha sambhaalna, koi bachchon ka khel nahin hai!"
Armu: I agree…..aur issliye main tumhe ek kiss de ke "thank you" kehna chahta hun!
He starts to lean towards the blushing Jassi….when there is a knock on the door. Muttering under his breath, Armu gets up and opens it.
Raj is there, and from his mysterious smile it seems he has something up his sleeve.
