Guess Who?

And this is what happens when your movies are not doing well at the ticket counter. You start getting a tad paranoid. And that's what's happening with this production house. After several duds, they have decided to go slow on production and identify their flaws and possible mistakes before they launch into production once again. Now that's a wise path to take.

The sad part is they have decided that a couple of their movies, which are ready for release, don't have enough meat to be success stories at the ticket counter. Thus, they have decided to re-shoot both major portions of these movies and will release them only after they are completely satisfied. Sigh!!!

There was a time when actors were willing to sign on the dotted line for any project announced by this filmmaker. Not any more. Now this filmmaker wants to make a sequel to one of his successful films but he is unable to find any actor to play the lead in his movie. He's approached as many as three top actors but it seems they all have rejected the film. Let's see if he manages to convince someone.

I thoguht the production house was Fox and the films were BV and Mr.X
String of flops- Bullet Raja,Citylights,Hawa Hawai,Finding Fanny and Humshakals.

"Movies not doing well" fits with YRF..
But I dont think the re-shoot bit does ..
Sushant cant shoot for DBB now .. he has long hair and he replied to someone on twitter that MSD shoot will start soon.

YRF sucks.

If they interfere too much and don't give the film maker enough freedom, they should be ready to add another flop to their Kitty.

I think they are going to ruin the essence of the whole movie by reshooting the major portions. Good luck to them! 🤢

Dibakar should have never paired up with YRF for his dream project.

Oh, so I just read the above comments and realised that I might have over reacted. 😛

If it isn't YRF, good for Dibakar...if it is YRF, well then YRF will continue to suck 😆

P.S. Did Sushant ever speak about this movie? I only see Dibakar going on and on about the shooting and stuff. Poor guy is the only one...promoting it. 😆

How can major portions of DBB be reshot? Sushant is back to his muscular frame, he has a fuller face again, his hair is totally different. No way can they shoot the film again, there will be a major difference in the two byomkesh's. Plus Dibu had signed up with YRF only when he was promised that he would have total creative control. He won't change his film for anyone, I think.
The only other film they have which is ready for release is dum laga ke haisha.

He has spoken about the movie and his character in his general interviews, the ones he gave sometime ago, but hasn't been attending events specifically to promote the movie. Dibakar was at the Film Bazaar recently, hence all those interviews and articles.
Sushant's PR has been keeping him in hiding basically plus woh teaser mein bhi nahi aya abhi. Probably they were planning for his entry with DBB trailer .

It is through Sushants interview to a Bengali paper that we came to know dibu has planned the graph of byomkeshs character for the first three byomkesh movies already.
