Beautiful actress Mugdha Chaphekar, who was seen in shows like Dharti Ka Veer Yodha Prithviraj Chauhan, Dharam Veer, Mere Ghar Aayi Ek Nanhi Pari, Sajan Re Jhoot Mat Bolo, is now busy with her latest show Satrangi Sasural (24 Frames Production) on Zee TV.
In her latest show, Mugdha is essaying the role of a young girl named Aarushi, who will marry a guy who will be blessed with seven mothers.
Talking about her character in the show Mugdha said, "My character Aarushi is a modern and independent woman, who bears all the responsibility of her family. She is blissfully ignorant about her fathers' true intention, who does not want her to get married as that will stop family's income."
"I will fall in love with a guy Vihaan (Ravish Desai), who has seven mothers. It is indeed a challenge for Aarushi to settle down in a family with seven mother-in-laws. Aarushi is a kind of girl who will accept this challenge and will win the heart of all her mother-in-laws."
When she was questioned about her reaction if she was to put herself in such circumstances in real life, she quickly replied, "Personally I believe that it is not only the responsibility of the mother-in-law to compromise or adjust but is also equally the responsibility of the daughter-in-law. It varies from person to person how she will handle such a situation."
Talking about the similarities of her character with her, Mugdha commented, "I am somewhat similar to her in real life. Even I realize the necessity of family and relationships. For me my prince charming will not be the only important person but his mother will also be a very special and important person in my life."
When she was asked about what made her to play this role, she said, "The concept of having seven mother-in-laws in one single show is a unique concept and this concept attracted me to do the show."
