CH 1-IAM MISSING U
The words that escape a friend's mouth are "I'll be there when you say you need me" but the words that are unheard from a true friend's heart are "I'll be there... whether you say you need me or not."
It was a warm monday morning.The bright blue sky layed in the humid air, With no clouds to be seen. You could just see the grass swaying from side to side, being lightly pushed by the warm summers breeze.With great difficulty Kaustuki got up from her bed.She saw Jigy sleeping beside her with his mouth slightly open.She smiled a little ..Though Jigy used to behave like a nerd sometimes , he was totally innocent in nature which was the prime reason for kaustu to love him more...She heared door opening and her bestie entered their room with their Morning coffee...
"Good morning Bhabhi" saying this,Vidushi tightly hugged Kaustu. "Gud morning dear..so whats your plan for today"?Kaustu chipped sipping her coffee...
"As usual dropping Gauri in school,dance class,spending time in liabrary..."Vidu exclaimed.But Kaustu interrupted "Stop stop!!yr...Didnt I tell you to think about that matter??He is really interested in you and I thought today you will go on a date with him... Are you going to spend your full life like this??ha???.Yesterday ur bro and me were talking about this only.I mean, past is past Vidu.."
Vidu pleaded "Pls bhabhi, I dont want to discuss further on this topic.I dont want to get married..
If you are feeling that iam a burden to this family, then do tell me..I would .." By this time,Kaustu got lil irritated
"Just shut up.Dont make me shout at you Vidu..I mean , just look at us..inspite of these many problems,me and Jigy got married...Dont you wish for a happy family"??
Vidu stood up at once and blurted out in a loud voice:"No,I dont..
During this serious family discussion ,Gauri walked into their room...She sighed a little seeing her bua and mom fighting for no matter..
"Mummy , did you see my pencil"?? Exclaimed Gauri with soo much innocence in her face ..
"Oh yea..yesterday night,I was using it to cook dinner for you all" Kaustu said it sarcastically.Vidu smiled at this.
"As if I also use pencil in this house along with you...Just go and search it in your room.Iam not gonna spend time on this"saying this Kaustu got up from her bed and went to do her morning yoga.
"Why do mummy shout at me everytime,when I say something is missing"??Gauri murmured these with some seriousness in her voice as if she is totally innocent in this matter.
"That's because she is angry at me...Come , lets search for it" Vidushi took Gauri to her room.
Kaustu came back to room seeing Jigy still sleeping.Now she really got irritated.She took a jug of water kept beside and splashed it on his face.He got up with such a shock shouting"Tsunami..Tsunami...Help..hel..."
"Tsunami???This is delhi..Not an island...now.get up.." Kaustu started pulling him out of the bed.Jigy took his specs and sat there analysing the room for 5 minutes.Then he understood it was just a dream...Seeing the time,he started the day with his usual complaints
"Are Kaustu,still time is there..why do I need to get ready sooo early??
"I dont have much serious work to do in our company today.." last few words were not clear for Kaustu as he was Yawning ..
"So,that doesnt mean you would sleep all day long..Pahle,just stop your habit of complaining ..you and your daughter specialise in that" They went on with their usual silly fights
On the other side,Gauri somehow got that pencil back..She felt Victorious as if she has won some battle..Then she tiptoed inside another room..and saw her uncle sleeping peacefully with photo frame in his hand...
"Aaj sunday nahi he uncle..uto na.."Gauri cooed in his ears...Seeing no response, She murmured.."Hm..I think except bua,everyone in this house do not want get up at all..."
He slowly..blinked at the sunlight streaming through the window...Seeing Gauri,his lips curved into a small smile..but again pretended to sleep.
""Yea yea..I know, you are a good actor..no need of a fake sleep " Gauri grinned at him seeing his reaction for that...He still wanted to act like that,but seeing her cute face,he forgot everything and took her in his lap.
Hearing some giggling sounds from that room,Vidu appeared near the door.
"So Mr Randhir Singh Shekhawat also knows to giggle..." Vidushi said with a pout.
Randhir smiled sheepishly and got up from the bed.
"So Ms Vidushi Patel has not forgotten her pout"Randhir said it by matching her pitch.Vidu smiled
"So,what do you need for breakfast"? Vidu continued her work in kitchen.
Rd's morning coffee was kept in the dining table.He took it and was about to answer.
"As if you prepare breakfast daily according to our wish"complained Gauri from her room.
"Anything u prepare tastes good Vidu, but I think paranthas would be a gud option" exclaimed Randhir.
"Paranthas is Sani's fav right?? She always persuades me for preparing it .and I..." suddenly Vidu saw a change of expressions in Rd's face from his unusual smile to sadness ..
"Iam sooo sorry.." Vidushi felt tooo bad for taking Sanyu's name .Without telling anything , he stood near the window side.He was feeling blank at that moment.Howsoever he tried to smile,his past used to haunt him..His only solace in that family was Gauri, who used to make him feel happy by her cute antics..or else sometimes Jigy or Vidu..He paced inside the room.And then sat in the edge of the bed.He saw that photo frame kept beside.Its his life,his love.He stared at that photo for a long time.Her eyes , everytime used to make him feel mesmerised...
"Why did you left me Sanyu"?

"Randhir, iam sorry...i did'nt ..."Sanyu got up from her bed frantically.Her eyes flashed open and she gasped for air. She sat up slowly, wiping her forehead and neck, both damp with sweat."Again a nightmare"? She kicked the covers off and stumbled to the shower...She got ready,ate her breakfast and left to her office.Arpita was murmuring angrily seeing a load of work given by her boss. Sanyu works as PA there..She started helping her boss..At break time,Sanyu came out and saw Arpita still busy with her works.. "Hey!! Arpita,is that really you?? I have never seen you working during break"Sanyu exclaimed sarcastically.But Arpita was totally engrossed in her work."Iam asking you something ..." "Huh!! Yeaa..iam busy dear.." Arpita said without taking her eyes from the files."So why dont you finish it in your home"?? Sanyu suggested."Dont you know that I..." Sanyu interrupted "Love partying whole night , right? "Ofcrse..actually you dont know the real fun behind that..i dont know why you want to remain alone everytime..why cant you come yr"?? "I have told you many times not to talk about this..." Sanyu blurted out in anger..Actually Arpita is fun loving girl and she also wants Sanyu to be like her.. Sanyu is calm, flexible and has got all that qualities that a PA needs...otherwise Sanyu has an awkward personality...There was a time when she used to hang out with her friends day and night...used to enjoy each and every moment..
"Sometimes life is too hard to be alone, and sometimes life is too good to be alone."yes ,Sanyukta believed in this concept.Past 8 years she is alone..no family ..no friends..She likes to be alone..to live her life without anyone's interference... Her only wellwisher in mumbai is Arpita, who hardly tried to interfere in her matters..Nobody cared for her... she cared for none...Whole night the only thing she does is to cry thinking about her past..this resulted in usage of sleeping pills..Seeing a photograph hanging on the wall...She murmured.." I..I...ha..hate... u..."
