jalal jodha and drama!

hi folks!

i am writing after a long time as my interest in the show has gone out of the window..and some of you who read my previous post..'ruke ruke se kadam'..must have got an idea that i had one foot in the house and one out at the door..ready to leave whenever getting something that can take me off of this mess! and it happened but i still read WUs and chat with my friends in my own chat club where i am free to discuss the shows that have taken my attention as of now until ashoka starts...

folks, i started watching the show on my friend's recommendation as she is a die hard romantic female who loves watching love stories especially involving king and queen like fairy tales and to be honest i found the look of the cast boring and had no desire to watch the show and it took me about couple of weeks to get used to their look and start appreciating the act and their scenes together...and i started to like jj scenes and who else knows better than lashy but later rajat's magnificent acting skills captivated my heart..! and i got hooked as i found the story, screenplay, acting, direction very interesting..it all made me watch all the previous episodes in one go and so much so that i started collecting its DVDs...and now what happened that i had to leave something that i had been involved with for more than a year...

my journey of disappointments started when akbar was shown weak and foolish and too much glorification of jodha on the expense of akbar's characterization..how i wish they should have shown a dignified akbar and an equally strong and intelligent jodha..ek dum barabar ki takkar..and not a rebellious jodha with ott gussa and an equally weak jalal and ott rondu emperor ..i decided to leave but then the death of adham khan and a breadth taking episode made me watch the show again.. and i can keep on listing my disappointments especially the mirchi war..not so much the war itself but the way they showed akbar as a captive of abul maali whom a sister easily made a fool was a complete let down..and why they had to show akabr weak and foolish to show the mirchi war and glorify jodha yet again?..till date i have not understood nor watched those episodes!

now lately the character of ruk has been completely vampsized..i cannot recognize this ruk and till date miss smily's grace and how beautifully she played rukkya sultan begum..i would have loved to see her grey shades with smart and intelligent mind that knows how to play games and instead of apheem addiction i would have loved to see how she plays with salim's mind with her brain..and that would have been interesting and now i am am seeing a cliched track with same old crap taken from ekta's pile of garbage!

now giving powers to jodha begum..are they justified the way they have shown the previous tracks..favoring MS and not salima who was there with her through thick and thin..instead i would have loved to watch an intelligent and tactful jodha who did something so gracefully and in a royal manner which ended up in a interesting way leading to some symbiotic beneficial deal..and yes where she required emperor's farmaan but seeing this emperor gets impressed and gives her the power..i always wanted to see that intelligent and subtle politics rather than ins and outs of harem ke cliched masale!

and now why all this hassle of salim's upbringing???..first of all we are seeing a 16th century father who is a king as well..and the fathers of those times were strict and wanted discipline in the house..not like the fathers of today's time and age who are just like friends with their kids and i still remember that my father was a horrified figure in the house and we all used to be scared of him..one stare and all of us in the bed😆 ..anyway again..what show are we watching..and why all the focus on salim?..i think more focus should be on jodha and jalal and some political angle with salim being bought at times when needed but not the whole track revolving around him!

i think either they should make jodha jalal as the center and focus the story around what they did together and separate during salim's growing years..show some of the historical events and then end their story gracefully with the announcement of season2 where only salim's story will be focused with new faces and new jodha and akbar and then the story should include anarkali later noor in between maanbai JG..and more other important characters that were linked with salim's life..and now the situation is such its neither jj story nor SA story!

please share your views on the sadistic situation of the show...😕..i miss the quality of first 6 months!

I totally agree with you. That's why I have stopped watching the show and commenting on the forum.

It is a Total mess and messy story - How many folks have got killed by RUKS - Ben, That couple from Lahore who killed HH, One Baandi earlier ( Indirectly) due to FP and now Resham Khan.

i will check my pms. I have also stopped reading them as most of them related to JA.

These days watching this show it has become a torture. I can't stand seeing a child been drugged and lack of passion between JJ..

absolutely fatma! never mind the lack of passion which was not enough to begin with except for a few initial episodes due to SV's great direction and now the acting and direction has degraded beyond repair..rajat still surprises me here and there but the freshness of the actors which we felt before is not there!

SILLY is not the word - There has been no story, screenplay, dialogues that is on planned lines - Some garbage being dished out to suit TRPs.

It's a gone show . Let them close soon - SA is a disaster from start.

i think ekta does not know how to handle the story post maham's death..up until maham was alive she stretched the story of the movie JA and after her death it was a full stop..either end it or continue with mughal-e-azam..but where was the time for writing a good screen play as the shooting is cut to cut and poor actors are already tired and exhausted and look over worked..now without a proper screen play which take years to perfect where is the show going from here

I guess the actors are also not happy with the show that's why it's affecting their acting. I hope Rajat gets another offer before JA sinks completeky.
