My mother belongs to a small village names kalvan in maharashtra, in near by area their is a temple durga, which is a shaktipeeth. She has narrated me a story when we are going towards the temple. She told me, one day shivaji maharaj has come to pray the goddess bhavani, in the way their was a mughal who has hided in that mountain to kill shivaji. Goddess durga came there and she kick him. There was a big hole in the mountain and that mughal died.
Goddess durga also gives shivaji a sword to kill mughals and their shehansha aurangzeb.
