But the judges scores might be misleading for few who dont follow music but follow the show regularly.

completely agree with you..

I 've my own judgement..I've been a judge myself in atleast 4-5 music competitions, so I vote on the basis of my opinion..but I wonder how people who hv less/no knowledge of music will be voting?? They must be getting biased bcoz these mentors are music composers n general mass will definitely give weightage to their marks..

U both r absolutely right..I personally have a little background in music, so I judge based on my knowledge and vote for whoever I think really did well that particular week..

But the people who don't have much knowledge in music, consider the gurugraphs while voting..I wud say thats why the mentors are for at this point int he show, bcos they are music directors by profession and hence have extensive knowledge in music..they are supposed to correctly judge the contestants based purely on their singing talent, taking into account how the singers do in sur, taal, song selection, starting the song, finishing a line, the aalap and murkhis and harkats and all those aspects collectively and then give points appropriately..

But here we see something entirely different..there is favoritism and wowowing for the silliest of songs which shudnt be allowed to be sung in a singing talent contest first of all, and there is no appreciation or encouragement for a sincere effort on a difficult song..they hardly give any tips or advice to the singers..its really shameful!

I liked the screeching roti HR. At least he was fair at times. This one distributes points like prasad and ID mellowed too compared to last year. So I really don't care about judges' comments or points anymore.

The judges are bias towards Mauli. She didn't deserve 10s. Probably a mix of 8s and 9s. And this is coming from a big Mauli fan.

The judges smoke something before they come to the show I think LOLLL so no I do not follow their opinion at all.
I was telling my husband how we need to go and sing on SGMP and we'll surely get at least an 8!!! 😆 I mean points ki aisay baarish ho rahee hoti hai jaisay paan walay ki dukaan ki sidewalk ho after eating paan.

well i would say sometimes their marks r justifiable but lots of the times NO..
some of them r over-marked u know who all...
some of them are under-marked & so under-hyped eg. Mussarat, Joy, Sumedha
