Chintoo asks naani, why she called all in the morning & say, they all yet to eat break fast..naani asks chintoo to forget food atleast 1 day & remind god..naana says how can we forget food
Naani says, today is utpanna ekadashi, if a man from the family do upavaas, then good things happen to family & he gets punya..krishna says, he would like to do upavaas for family.
Chintoo says to naani, how can Krishna sadu bhai do upavaas, he is a far relative but not from our family..krishna says to naani, naaniji, plz. allow me to do upavaas, I would like to do good things maximum to this family from my side..naani asks chintoo to keep quite & say, no need to bring family here & ask Krishna to do upavaas..krishna teases chintoo by smiling at him.
Sundari comes home along with 2 sadhvis & introduces them as sadhvi nirmala & urmila & say, sadhvi nirmala came to our house to explain about utpanna ekadashi.
Sadhvi nirmala explains about the importance of utpanna ekadashi..she says, tomorrow morning whoever is doing upavaas can complete the upavaas & if people do jagaran whole night will get 100 times more punya..while talking, nirmala keeps on saying hari om & chintoo sits next to her by looking at her curiously & he too says, hari om
Every body sits & eats breatfast..chintoo teases Krishna & say he cant eat till tom. morning..krishna says, that's ok, actually i don't have practice of doing upavaas since we don't do it in America but for the sake of this family, I am doing upavaas.
Naani praises Krishna & say, u r such a good man, even after living in usa, u are doing upavaas but the person who is living in india don't believe in all these stuffs by looking at chintoo..krishna says, there is no wrong in not believing, that is his wish.
Naani again praises Krishna & say u know so many good things but chintoo don't know anything..chintoo says, naaniji, I don't believe sadhvis/babas, I just do good things & that is what god expects from good persons & goes from there.
Krishna out of hungry opens fridge & takes an apple to eat..by looking at chintoo, he becomes silent..krishna says to chintoo, he did not take the apple to eat, just he wanted to play with apple..chintoo says to krishna, sadu bhai when did I say u took this apple to eat & takes back the apple from him & goes from there.
Sundari goes to guest room to meet sadhvi nirmala..nirmala asks sundari to sit on bed..nirmala says to sundari, if any person do daan today then she will get 100 times more punya..sundari says what daan she can do & nirmala asks her to do gold daan.
Sundari says, ok I will ask mayya & come back..nirmala says, no need of asking any1, whoever do daan should keep it as secret to earn 100 times more punya..sundari says, ok, whatever gold jewels I have, I will do daan to u.
Chintoo stands silently outside sadhvi room & comes inside..he asks them what they were discussing..sundari says, sadhvi nirmala was explaining about hari kahani.
Dolly holds a jewellery box & chintoo asks her why she is holding this & say, he had not seen this jewel earlier..dolly says, u did not do upavaas chintooji to earn punya, if u had done today, who knows, I would have gone to my sasural one day.
Chintoo says, even without earning punya he married her & ask her why she is holding this jewel now..she says, this is not mine but my mother's, now she is asking me to give, hence I am giving to her but don't ask me why she is asking only today, that I cant tell u & goes from there..chintoo says to himself, he should be careful now as something bad may happen at this house.
Sundari keeps all her jewels on the bed..chintoo goes to her room & ask her why she kept all the jewels on bed like this..dolly says to chintoo, they cant tell now why they have kept the jewels like this.
Sundari says to chintoo, yes chintoo jamai, I cant tell u now otherwise I don't get punya of doing secret daan..dolly says to sundari, what is this mum, u said secret daan to chintooji, that means he understood the point, then where will we get punya.
Chintoo says to sundari, that's ok saasuma, u did not tell me purposely, god knows about this..sundari agrees with his point
Chintoo says to sundari, saasuma what is the point in giving old jewels, u cant earn punya by doing daan of old jewels, u will get punya only if the jewels are new or shining.
Sundari says, she don't have time to give jewels for shining & chintoo says, u don't worry about it when I am there saasuma, give to me, I know 1 of my friend do this job, I will go & come back immediately..sundari becomes happy & gives all her jewels to chintoo.
Chintoo holds the jewels in his hand which are covered with cloth & hides them after looking at krishna..krishna too hides something from chintoo..krishna asks chintoo what he is holding & hiding from him & chintoo says nothing.
Chintoo asks the same question & krishna says, nothing..chintoo says naaniji' & krishna turns his face to see naani..immediately chintoo observes the sweet box which krishna was holding & say to him, sadu bhai, even if u don't do upavaas that's ok but don't cheat or lie like this & takes back the sweet box from him & say, u keep the upavaas & I will keep this sweet box in its place.
Chintoo goes outside house & naani asks chintoo where he is going now & ask him to bring 5 types of sweets from their shop for pooja..chintoo says, he is not able to stand also, he is not well hence he is going to meet doctor & runs from there.
Krishna asks naani what happened & naani says, I wanted chintoo to do some work, but he was in hurry & told he is not well suddenly..krishna says to naani, but I saw chintoo sadu bhai few minutes back & he was absolutely fine & says, sadu bhai was holding a jewellery set..naani says, u don't know about chintoo properly, he has lied.
Chintoo makes a call to some1 & speaks to him & say ok..calling bell rings & sadhvi urmila, the assistant of sadhvi nirmala opens the door..A person says to urmila, he wanted to give 1 set of original jewels & 1 set of dup. jewels to chintoo.
Chintoo comes there & collects all the jewels & scold him & say, he was about to destroy his plans..that person says, he wanted bal. amount from him & chintoo says, he will speak to him later & ask him to go.
Sadhvi nirmala calls urmila's name & say to herself, she is getting delayed for pooja..urmila comes & say to nirmala, she has a good news to say.
Urmila says to nirmala, other than sundari, chintoo too is giving daan of gold jewels to her & say, he is giving 1 set of original & 1 set of dup. jewels as daan.
Nirmala says to urmila, she knows chintoo very well, his mind works more than his mouth & he is very clever..but she will surely takes the jewels under his nose & see how he stops me..chintoo says to himself, he don't allow sadhvi to take anything out of this house..epi. stops here & to be continued tomorrow.
Nice episode..sadhvi nirmala looked beautiful ..the way chintoo sat down next to nirmala when she was explaining about utpanna ekadashi & told hari om was funny..the scenes chintoo teasing krishna whenever krishna tried to eat apple/sweets were entertaining..the scene how chintoo cleverly collected all the jewels from sundari for polish was appreciable..the scene when chintoo told naani, he don't believe babas/sadhvis but likes to do only good works is very nice..sumit acted superbly in all these scenes.
