Last Part
Since it was safe to be home now, Maan decided to leave as soon as possible. His work in the US was almost over; just some paper work and few meetings were left. It was never a month a long work anyway.
He told Dadi that he will come in 4-5 days and he asked her to keep it a secret from Geet.
Dadi was happy, she never wanted Maan to go on first place.

Few days later, in KM.
"Theek hai Maan hum raat main driver ko bhej denge aapko receive kerne ke liye," said Dadi on phone.
"Dadi aapne Geet ko toh kuch nahi bataya na," replied Maan from the other end.
"Nahi beta, humne unko kuch nahi bataya."
"Ok Dadi meri flight ka time ho raha hai, aapse ghar aa ker baat kerta hun. See you, bye."
"Bye beta."
"Kaun tha Dadi ma ?" asked Geet as she enter her room.
"Wo.. wo humari friend ka phone tha, humne unhe kal ke liye invite kerne ke liye call kia tha," replied Dadi covering up.
"Kal kuch hai kya Dadi ?"
"Haan beta aap..." she was interrupted by Annie.
"Dadi aap ne mujy bulaya ?" asked Annie entering the room.
"Haan beta humne aap dono ko ye batane ke liye bulaya tha ki kal Lohri hai aur humne ek chhoti si dinner party arrange keri hai."
"Arey haan kal toh Lohri hai, main toh bhool hi gayi thi," said Geet
"Dadi, Geet ki toh ye humare ghar main pheli Lohri hai," said Annie.
"Haan aur issiliye humne kal ghar mai pooja bhi rakhi hai."
"Dadi Lohri main kaun si pooja hoti hai ?" asked Geet.
"Beta waise toh Lohri main alag se koi pooja nahi hoti hai per ye humara khandaani rewaaz hai ki shaadi ke baad pheli Lohri main pati patni ye pooja kerte hai jismain wo apne aane waale jeevan ke liye sukh aur shaanti ki kaamna kerte hai."
"Per Maan toh yaha hai nahi," said Geet.
Well Dadi didn't think of this question. She was almost caught off guard.
"Haan wo hume Pandit jee se iss bare main baat kerni hai," she replied still not very sure what she said.
"Annie aap chaliye hume aapki kuch help chahiye arrangements kerne main," said Dadi. She thought it's better to leave before Geet asks any more question.
"Dadi main bhi chalti hun," said Geet.
"Aap abhi aaraam kariye, hume jab aapki help chahiye hogi hum aapko bula lenge," she replied.
"Jee theek hai Dadi."

Geet was upset because Maan won't be able to make it to the festival. Her first Lohri after wedding and Maan wasn't here. She was already missing him terribly but since the time Dadi reminded her about the function in the morning she was missing him even more.
In their last conversation Maan told her he is stuck with work and won't be able to come anytime soon.

Maan arrived post mid night. He entered their room and saw Geet sleeping. He couldn't help but stare at her angelic face, he has missed her so much. It was few seconds later he noticed that Geet was wearing his shirt. So she didn't say it to tease him, she indeed was using his cloths. He smiled thinking he wasn't the only one.
He had this sudden urge to wake her and make love to her but he controlled himself, he has to pay her back for all the teasings. He changed into his track pants and lied beside Geet, taking her into his embrace. Although she was in deep sleep still she felt his presence and snuggled closer to him.
Next morning Maan woke up before Geet, took shower and left the room. Geet woke up much later feeling confused, was he really here,' if yes then where he went. She was pretty sure that last night she felt him. She looked around the room to check for his luggage but found nothing.
"Geet tu pagal ho gayi hai," she finally told herself.
It was later, when she went in the bathroom and saw his clothes she realized he is back indeed. She literally jumped in happiness. He is probably downstairs she thought, she decided to freshen up quickly and go downstairs.

In the hall.
"Good morning Dadi," said Geet, touching her feet.
"Good morning bete, Ye Lohri aapke jeevan ko kushiyon se bhar de," replied Dadi showering her blessings.
Geet's eyes were searching for Maan but he was nowhere. It was only Dadi.
"Beta aap jinhe dhoond rahi hai wo kisi kaam se bahar gaye hai," said Dadi in a teasing tone.
"Nahi wo main... main Annie ko dhoond rahi thi usse wish kerne ke liye."
"Ohh aap Annie ko dhoond rahi thi, tab toh theek hai, kyunki Maan ne bola hai ki vo shaam tak ghar aayenge."
"Shaam tak.. haan wo unhe kuch kaam hoga," said Geet looking visibly upset.
Oh poor girl, Dadi almost felt like telling her the truth, she refrained herself with difficulty.
They were soon joined by Annie, after having the breakfast they got busy with arrangements.
Geet, on many occasions felt she saw glimpse of Maan but couldn't get him, he was too fast for her. By now she knew he was playing games with her, she didn't mind either, she was way too happy that he was back.

Late afternoon
Geet was getting her Mehndi done by the girls who were called by Dadi.
"Bahut sundar Mehndi lagi hai," said Dadi joining them.
Geet smiled at her.
Mehndi was almost done and the girls definitely did a good job.
"Accha Beta aapki Mehndi jab poori ho jaye uske baad aap Annie ko outhouse se jaa ker bula laayiega, humne use waha kisi kaam se bheja hai, uhne bhi Mehndi lagwani hai."
"Jee theek hai Dadimaa," replied Geet.
Few minutes later Geet entered the outhouse hall, searching for Annie.
"Ye Annie kaha gayi," she said to herself.
Suddenly she felt a pair of hands on her eyes, she was too familiar with the touch to get startled.
"Maan," she said softly.
He took out a piece of cloth from his pocket and blind folded her.
"Aap ye kya ker rahe hai ?"
He didn't reply to it. Instead sliding his hands around her bare waist he whispered huskily in her ear, "I missed you Geet."
Geet took a deep breath inhaling his aroma; that masculine scent, how badly she has missed him.
Keeping her hair on one side of the shoulder Maan planted multiple kisses on side of her neck, Geet tilted her head giving him more access. His hands were sensuously roaming on her waist running havoc in her senses. With the Mehndi on, she couldn't even touch him, curling her toes she moaned his name.
He then planted few wet kisses on back of her neck and came down till the knot of her blouse.
"Please.. Maan... meri... Mehndi..." she said with great difficulty.
"Nahi kharaab hogi, tumhe kuch kerne ki zaroorat nahi hai," he said as he came in front still planting fervent kisses now on front of her neck.
Finally after hearing her continuous pleadings he decided to let go as he opened her blindfold. It took Geet few seconds to adjust to the lights before she saw his face clearly.
Keeping her head on his shoulder she said, "Aap mujhe bahut pareshaan kerte hai."
"Tumhe pareshaan kerna accha lagta hai," he replied pulling her closer.
She smiled, well she too enjoyed his teasing.
They remained in the same position for some time enjoying each other's presence.
"Geet lunch ker lete hai, Dadi ne mujy sirf ek ghate ka time diya hai."
"Lunch, yaha ?"
"Hmm, maine Dadi se bol ker humarae liye yaha lunch arrange kerwaya hai."
"Vo toh theek hai per mere haath main Mehndi lagi hai, aapko mujhe khilana padega."
"Happy to help Mrs. Khurana."

Evening
Everything was set for the Pooja, pandit asked Dadi to call the couple.
"Annie, aap Maan aur Geet ko unke room se bula laiye," said Dadi.
"Jee," saying this Annie turned to call them.
"Dadi," Annie said.
Dadi turned in her direction and saw Maan and Geet coming down the stairs. She couldn't take her eyes off them. Maan, in embroidered royal blue, closed neck kurta and white silk pajamas. Geet wore a yellow Bhagalpuri silk, stone work saree, with prolific needlework and jewelry complementing it. Dadi mentally patted herself for picking the perfect attire. They were looking royal.
The pooja was followed by the party that was arranged in the garden where the fire was set. Party was a grand affair with Punjabi dance and folk music being the surprise element for Geet.

Once the guests left, Maan cornered Geet in the hall.
"Geet ab aur intezaar nahi ho raha," he said coming closer to her lips.
She tried to free herself but his hold was firm. "Maan Dadi ne bulaya hai."
He still didn't move. "Maan aap jao main jaldi aa jaungi," said Geet in a pleading voice.
"Theek hai," he said kissing her cheek and left.
After what seemed like eternity to Maan when Geet didn't come ,he decided to check on her.
He stopped outside Dadi's room when he heard her saying, "Hume aapse koi kaam nahi tha, humne toh bus Maan ko pareshaan kerne ke liye aapko yaha roka hai. Thoda intezaar kerne dijiye unhe."
That's it. Maan entered her room and said, "Dadi Geet bahut thak gayi hogi, use rest chahiye." With that he picked her in his arms.
"Haan beta hum sab samajhte hai," replied Dadi with a naughty grin.
"Maan mujhe neeche utaariye," said a highly embarrassed Geet.
"Nahi Geet you need rest now," he said leaving the room.
By the time they reached their room they were lost in each other.
What followed afterwards was a showcase of desire, love and lust. The passion which they have checked for months finally came out pouring as the night witnessed their long awaited union.
