From day one they have been a bit apprehensive about bringing any change in the show...they have not been much experimental in the things (except of daya's voice which turned out as a disaster)...otherwise...

1.popat is still unmarried

2.maa wil not b shown again as she will b in veil

3.bhide has not got a new scooter yet

4.where is tarak's bose

5.no leap

6.jetha still eyes babita n no improvement in daya also

7.Tappu sena is still in school

AMo is an over confident man. Despite of criticism he always went ahead with his ideas. According to the original story teller it was about the diversity of a particular soceity and their day to day activities. Later the story was modified further to explore one particular family and pardon me but one particular community and one state.

The show which was to be a comedy first went on with its moral preaching. The comedy show was reduced to a social awareness program.Thus, the whole show became full of hypocrisy, paradoxes and contradictions. For ex: The show preaches to be truthful but where was their morality when they faked themselves as reporters to meet the stars ?

The producer himself started making special appearances through various means and finally decided to jump before the camera as the producer himself. Logical reasoning was killed here brutally.

Education never had any importance in this show. In fact it is limited to Tappu sena's tuition classes, exams and results. Illiterates here have the whole responsibilty to solve any crisis and the educated ones watch them with awe.

Apart from this everything that was good in the show was stretched beyond tolerance. Popu's marriage plan, Daya's shrill voice, Jetha's flirting and so on. Over grown Tappu sena still behave like toddlers here.

Despite all these nonsensical ideas the show was getting high TRPs until 2014. Why should the makers oblige to our needs then ? Its only now when new shows like Mahabharat are attempting to rule the TRP charts AMo suddenly is trying to mend his ways. He is only now trying to bring new things and new characters. Too late and too little it is and has little impact on the frustrated viewers now.

Frankly speakin i dont mind if show concentrate on gadas untill the plot n storyline is gud because evryshow has a lead family and lead couple n from the very beginning the show is based on how jetha's family creates problems for him...
though my fav characters are bhide jetha n madhvi but i luv jetha daya scenes because they are gud in that...
my point is...KUCH TO CHANGE LAO AB...its high time for popat to get married...n ya one more thing...KONSA SHOW APNI KHUD KI ITNI TAREEF KARTA H...????

Not really. It was not a Gada's show initially. Otherwise the makers would have named the show as Gadas ki ulti duniya. They had tracks for every family. Now even if they have one sometimes it is overpowered by the Gadas.

The makers are not afraid of bringing changes,they DON'T want to bring changes because they have this huge misunderstanding that viewers are liking the show the way it is. TMKOC is nothing but old wine in old bottle. They are showing the same old things since last few years like :
Jetha flirting with babita
Champak bullying jetha
Daya troubling jetha
Daya's maa keeping new names for jetha
Jetha-iyer and jetha-bhide arguments
Sodhi's open romance with roshan
Hathis talking about food
Popat not getting any gal for marriage
Tapu sena's childish behavior
Sundar conning jetha

The only change they brought since last one year is entry of bawri and still not many people have accepted bawri.

Exactly, Subha . Thats why I said he is an overconfident man. Earlier in an interview he mentioned it is not possible for him to introduce new characters.

Bawri is a disasater. Just a mini Daya. I guess she was introduced so that Daya looks tolerable.😆

@ Dia: Earlier Sodhi made a huge scene when Roshan didn't allow him at home. He was standing on the terrace and refused to move. Daya din't keep any mannat then . But when SOdhi was kidnapped she did have a mannat . Do you see the difference here ?

You know the first example was a story written by the original Tarak Mehta. It therefore was logical. The latter was a Modi bhai's invention.

Not every show need a lead pair. If you talk about lead pair or a lead then it should have been Mehta. After all he is the story teller here and not Jethalal.

I wanna share something...there was a news that till 500 episodes mr.dharmesh mehta was directing the show n then he went on to direct papad pol...so do u think that this can b reason of show's present condition.

The director is the captain of the ship, he has too be good..but the main flaw is in the story line, the current tracks written by the so called creative team are worse...i really wonder how can a good director agree to direct these kind of stupid story line.

i read in an interview of Mr. Asit modi that he goes through the storyline before giving nod to the director, i mean how on earth Mr. Modi is liking these kind of tracks.

either success has gone over his head and he does not care for the final product that's been given to the viewers, or may be he is not reading the stories at all.

whatever may the reason...the serial has become unbearable..it has been ages since we have got a decent track to watch in TMKOC.

totally agreed ... even the humor has become stale and boring .. by overdoing the same things again & again they have killed the humor in it ..

for example

1. Daya & jetha's bit of "main to mazak kar rahi thi/tha " 😡

2. Sodhi getting excited and speaking loudly at about anything

3. babuchak bit by bapuji

4. sunder taking jetha for a ride and minting money

another surprising thing is..

How popatlal is still unmarried ?? ( there's no humor in those tracks too.. they missed a great plot with bulbul's character .. she could ve become a new lease of life for TMKOC

How come mehta's & iyers still don't have kids ? ( considering both are successful in their careers

how come jetha's shop or sodhi's garage hasn't improved over the years?

Iss sawal simple jawab ye bhi hai...Asit Bhai modi jee aur karcha karna nahi chahate...😆

Asit Bhai ka view:

serial too already hit hai...ab kyaa iss mein aur invest karne ka...😆, jo hai ussi se kaam chala lo..😛, mahine ke ek baar movie promotion daal doo...viewers lage rahenge aur sponsors se hum ko paise milte rahenge...😆..

kamayee ki kamayee...serial ka serial...kisi ko pata nahi chalega...😆
