yup...Antara (II2) reached till top 5 and Prajakta (II1) reached top 4!!!...and i like Ankita's performances not her singing...and plus last year's contestants were better than a lot of this year's contestants including Ankita...no offence!

Agreed that Ms. Mishra is a good performer, but really cannot sing other
than item songs. Her forte being performance, she uses it perfectly to
hide her weakness, which is singing. It's a credit to her (and whoever at
Sony), that she's marketing the right stuff to keep herself in the
competition.

Watching this show from the USA, and comparing it to American Idol, it
seems the ones who do the 'masti' (as Govinda stated) in the initial
rounds get all the attention, but the real singers come out at the end of it.
I know I'm gonna get attacked by Ankita lovers here, but if Annu Malik is
giving reality checks to Emon and Deepali, he might as well give one to
Ankita.

But if she wins at the end, then the format of this show is going the ways
of "Fame Gurukul", and not what Simon Fuller intended the "Idol"
franchise to be.

and about ankitas singing then i think shes got immense talent in her.....shes too good yaar.....she has all the qualities required by an indian idol-good voice,good persona,masti......everything😉
