Enforced? No. The word itself is disturbing. Not just star, every parents should highly encourage, inspired the kids and supported child rationally rather than enforced them. in education cases, it depends to what type of field. if finance, medical, economy, computer, engineering definitely formal education is a must. to prove the master skill you have on that area professionally. but in a profession of arts, formal education is not Mandatory. let say the star's teen itself really want to do that, parents could encourage them to the school theater, but if they dropped it out due to lost interest on the formality, poor grade or any circumstance similar, star could pursue the teen to the informal lesson. take lesson from behind the camera first for example. so that they get the overview of what they will face soon. Some professional artists dont have formal education on arts and they inspired the art world quite successfully, be it Jim Carrey,Marlin Brando or Quentin crazy Tarantino . but cant be denied, those who are having formal lesson in art theater will enjoy great beneficial too in terms of methods and opportunity(clearly star kid does not has this prob too much) even the acting or directing will look much more mechanical. Education is a must to everyone till the end of our journey but it is diversed across fields and has variable methods (formal or informal). It's all depend to kid's hidden talent and proportional to what the kid want, parent should briliantly handle that rather than enforce fever (like Virus did in 3i).

I agree, "enforced" is a strong word. I always felt that it is more encouraged, but while I was debating with a member, he said that he feels that parents shouldn't be forcing their kids to stay in college if the kids want to pursue cinema and just launch them in a film instead.
In the case of Saif, the member said that Saif should make it up to Sara and launch her in a film instead of forcing her to get a degree, and make it up to her for deserting her when she was young.

Well nobody knows what is in Saif's heart and how he raises his kid well rather than himself, so maybe that just raw observation in real life and he/she used saif as example, and did Sara really wants to be in film industry that badly? It depend to parents money status too and how many years left for the kid to finish up her study. If one semester leftt to be finished, I think it is kinda a waste, should pursuade her rather than forcing and still, if she cant go on, then it's okay. you know, there is a say, parenting is The most difficult job in this world.

good topic BTW!

Absolutely.
If the child desperately wants to act though, then should pursue acting/filmmaking/arts courses in college. There's no need to be forced into doing science, business, engineering, humanities if you have no interest in it.

forget about celebs, all parents should at least try to enforce education to their kids.
come a day, you can lose anything or everything, beauty, ur jawani, your wealth, your stardom, and what not...but if you have education, a solid degree in ur hand, nobody can steal it from you. education is very very important to one and all. so yes.
