Because if he wanted Upen evicted or play Shakuni trick, then he could've saved RENEE instead as she's the weakest of all. Also, Salman and caller made this quite evident this week that DIMPY is indeed a very strong contestant. Much strong than UPEN.

If Dimpy and Upen were nominated together ..then surely Upen would've gotten the kick.
