^^ Niharika, I seriously seriously hope that Zindagi airs Akbari Asghari.. Its a hillarious show..!! 🤣 I lovee the Rugged, Irritataing Asghar.. 😆😆 Both Sanam Baloch And Fawad Khan share a cute chemistry. And I have read that Aaina Dulhan Ka, Is the sequel to AA. But as Zindagi will air all of FK's shows.. As he is a rage in India nowdays and the official face of Zindagi..!! So Fingers crossed. 😊 I love its OST too.. De De Dil De De Dil Na Na Nana Na Re Na..

I too hope they air Akbari Asghari

The OST I Dled it Just love it

Akbari is such a drama queen OMG when she is telling Asghari about how she is mistreated the scene with Bayji

Asghar too when he shows Akbar Namate London such a scheming guy he is Main ye qurbani dene ke liye tayar hoon

After watching Behadd, Humsafar, ZGH this character played by FAK he is so rustic, the tan just loved it

Akabr ke role mein IAN had seen him in Mere Naseb he too is so different I mean he is such a bhola bhala insaan

Asghari too she is very much close to her culture her religion but does not show off like Akabri;

I love the couple scenes and also Akabr Asghar scenes

The dialogues were hilarious topi drama; ye phoonk aap apne akkal e sahreef par maare; the convo they had about Akabr agreeing to marry Shabbo

The other characters were also equally important and all of them acted so well

I loved Asghari's love confession inhi sadkon par inhi fizaon mein main pana dil aap par haar baithi; kab ye nahi bola before or after the nikaah

Akbari asghari scene where she asks him mujhmein toh aapka dil lagta hai na; he replies n then she says bas toh aap yehi kijiye aap par suit bhi karta hai

It was a fabulous show and a must see

Akbari Asghari, one awesome, absolutely funny and full of life serial. More than Fawad, its the rest of the casting that is so brilliant. Baiji for one...the way she calls shaaheen...'ni sheen'😆 and then the suhaag raat fiasco..stationing herself outside Asghar's room and making all sorts of noises 😆 and the heights is going to the honeymoon with them...Asghar ka chehra dekhne laayak tha 🤣🤣🤣🤣

Just FYI for those who don't know this yet that currently airing Mirat-Ul-Uroos is a sequel to Akbari Asghari where the girls are granddaughters of Akbari and the boys are grandsons of Asghari.

Both Akbari Asghari and Mirat-Ul-Uroos have the grey female protagonist essaying the more interesting character. No offence to the positive ones, but the grey ones were so much better, be it Sanam in AA or Aamina in MUU.
Both Sanam and Fawad start off as selfish hypocrites, and perfect match for each other and the way their track progresses still gives me a pain in my stomach with uncontrollable laughter. Mind you, the pics here are just too superficial. If you are addicted to the sophisticated Zaroon, the irritating rustic Asghar will make you hate him like anything. Yes, Fawad has ensured that Asghar is convincingly irritating. Just make sure you don't miss Akbari-Asghar-Shabbo scenes 🤣
At some places the story looks typical, but the acting of the talented ensemble is what keeps you hooked. As Aaina Dulhan Ka has already been aired, there is less chance that they will air a prequel, but keeping hopes alive, I really wish we get to see AA soon on Zindagi.
And I do hope, this title is not tampered with 😆

Actually there is no connection between Hum channel's akbari asghari and geo's mirat ul uroos. Mirat ul uroos is basically a classic urdu novel by deputy nazeer ahmed. In urdu literature this novel has almost the same cult status as umrao jan ada. It is famous because it promotes women education and in 'muhazzab gharanas' in indo-pak this novel was part of good literature read. In Pakistan if I remember correctly, an excerpt from the novel was part of our urdu course in school as well. In the novel the two female protagonists are basically named akbari and asghari. Umera's mirat ul uroos is depicted as the sequel of the novel and not the "akbari asghari" drama. It is a modern day take on old novel. Theme is almost same.

Akbari asghari drama on the other hand is very loosely connected with the novel. There is not much resemblance except that the names are same as the novel and in the novel as well akbari was chaloo and asghari was simple.
