Nope, but with the right clothes, make up and of course the acting, cannot forget the acting..this is what can happen. Just look at her go in the beginning of the song, she looks like a goddess of fashion.

Looks matter as they are the basic canvas to build something on unless you are a Ranbir or a Nutan who can dazzle people by disappearing into character by the sheer brilliance of acting. Which is sort of impossible to do in BW as most of them are not that gifted in acting.

she is pretty, yes. I think all our mainstream actresses are pretty. Each has their own charm.
