After calling Upen the best and purest person in the house, Nigaar nominated him.. why.. ? because for a good person like him staying in a house like that is torture.. hahaha.. Nigaar Maa'm with friends like you, who needs enemies.. ? :D

She had only the choice to nominate between upen and sonali

so she choose to sonali as sonali had done a lot for her in the house and sonali even asked her to nominate upen

Sonali did not want to get nominated and literally begged Nigaar thats the only reason she kept her wish and nominated Upen otherwise she never wanted to...
