I think Diandra actually looks pretty good with short hair. It highlights how strong her features are, in a good way. Long hair, like in this picture, take away from the beauty of her face.

She still has the same face and body. All she has done is adapted a punk look. It is her personal choice. That is how she has chosen to express herself. Granted some people find the look a turn off. Many people do find it attractive. In the end I don't think she does her hair or dresses to please us. She does what she does to suit herself.
