here's a easy one! Happy Solving! ^_^

I'm mostly lonely except for midnight.
As the sun crosses horizon and twilight ascends,
I slowly become more active.
I've witnessed many things over the years.
Strength of a friendship, courage and loyalty.
and of promises that were not forgotten.
Once two friends paid me a visit,
To get their friend out of trouble.
But Alas! sad for them,it was not their day
Though they did what was to be done,
They got caught and brought shame to their house.
Now rack your brains and spell my name.!

I knoow Diwali was over ages ago...and now, after approximately 2 months i'm finally posting the explanation to my Diwali riddle...forgive me for the delay...
here we go...

Answer to Aru's riddle no.4...cracked brilliantly by Nishi...not to forget, in the very first guess.. :D
Ans. Dr.Filibusters Waterproof Fireworks

Set me on and you'll go WOW -The moment you set fire to the cracker or in other words, set it 'on' , they explode making beautiful sparkles in the air and different patterns and filling the room with luminous air making everyone cry "oohhh!!" and "wooohhh" and "wowww" in amazement at their beauty...
I can be disastrous in wrong places, don't ask how -definitely,they are crackers, and they are troublesome...and they need some proper space to show their real form...now if, you venture to burn the filibuster crackers in a closed room like the dungeons where a potion class is in full swing, its obvious you'll get destruction...shelves would shake, ingredients would fall, potions would spill out of their cauldrons, even attack the brewer, and cause certain disasters which need immediate cure...its better we don't really inquire into the depths of its resultant destruction, its too much and too disasterous to know... :P
I am so better than my muggle version -Not just the Wizard world as filibuster fireworks, crackers also exist in the muggle world under different brand names...but they are ordinary, you set fire, they shoot up and blast, thats it...while the wizard version, they would sparkle around, and twist and turn and make different patterns and last longer and resist damage...so the wizard version (Filibuster fireworks) are much better that the muggle crackers...
Water doesn't affect me, I be single or a dozen- ofcourse, now the name says that the Filibuster product is waterproof...so why would the number matter? take any no. of pieces, a single cracker or twelve of them at once, dip them in water or splash H2O over them, i won't have any effect, they'll be as good as new (probably a li'l cleaner :P if the water will wash off the dust)...coz theyy are Waterproof :D
My business was on its peak -definitely, Filibuster fireworks were famous...every magical kid knew about them and loved their sparkle..everyone wanted some for themselves...everyone loved the firecrackers...they gave such beautiful virtuality, even if it lasted only for some seconds...and ofcourse, even the adults like some colour and sparkle in their monotonous routines of travelling to work and coming home and etc etc...so they won't argue much and just buy the product that wud offer some wonder and amazement to their dull lives...as a result...Dr. Filibuster and his business was on its peakk...
Until the legendary duo came in and stole all the eyes of glee -eyes of glee, yes...yess...of why not...all those eyes full of excitement and innocence, looking up to the shop owner to quickly hand them their own box of such amazing fireworks...but but but...the moment the W3's ie the Weasley's Wizard Wheezes entered the market...bro bro bro...the better and more beautiful stuff always attracts attention...noow that there were fireworks which made giganticlarger-than-life sparkling hovering imitations which go on for the whoolleee night, have their voice too and they multiply when hit by spells, obviously they wud become the magnet of attraction...so...the moment the legendary (beacouse of their hogwart's business) duo of Fred&George Weasley entered the market, all the kids and also the adult forgot all about the Filibuster product and rushed to the Weasleys with eyes full of awwee and glee...
------------------------------------------------------
so...this was a Diwali special riddle...
and it's subject was cracker...
these days, no house celebrates Diwali without bursting some crackers...
but has anyone ever thought about the damage that crackers do?? they take lives...of the innocent kids who waste away making them...they tear apart families...when a member dies choking in their vicious smoke...they even lessen ur years, the shorten ur life, and that of your near and dear ones too...when you inhale the air full of smoke and pollution that the crackers cause, you harm ur system, ur lungs, coz that smoke is poisonous...it has the oxides and sulphides and nitrates that can make u seriously ill...just try think of those who stay with thiis vicious entity the whole day...
Diwali is a festival of lights...it started when Lord Rama returned to his kingdom after 14 years of exile...all the people were very happy at this news...so they decorated their houses and the kingdom with light and lanterns and diyas to demonstrate their elation and give a warm welcome to their beloved prince...but nowadays, the decoration, their brightness, the light, its being consumed by the smoke...which violates the spirit of Diwali rather than adding to it...
Diwali is celebrated to light up ur house, ur life, and also the life of others who don't have the priviledge to...
so from now onwards...light a matchstick to light up a diya, not a cracker...
