Deepika Padukone and Varun Dhawan confirmed for The Fault In Our Stars remake

Deepika Padukone who is riding high on the success of Happy New Year has bagged another prestigious project. Padukone will be seen in the Hindi remake of The Fault In Our Stars. For the first time she will be paired opposite Varun Dhawan. Homi Adajania will direct the Hindi adaptation of the superhit Hollywood film while Fox Star Studios is partnering with Dinesh Vijan's Maddock Films after Finding Fanny. TFIOS is a story about two youngsters who are terminally ill and fall deeply in love, taking them on an extraordinary journey. The casual approach and humour in the story will be depicted in an unconventional manner. Made on a production budget of $12 million, the original movie grossed over $300 million worldwide and is still counting. Shooting of the Hindi film starts in 2015

When does shooting begin for this? March? I wanna see their look from look test

My interest in this this movie nose dived as soon as Deepika and Homi became associated with it.

They couldn't have found a more perfect way to ruin this.

i guess June, July.. Deepika will be busy with Bajirao until then. There are battle scenes which will be shot out of Mumbai so both Ranveer and Deepika will be there

Deepika will only be needed for 2nd half of that sequence coz Mastaani joins the war few days before Bajirao's death

earlier it was said that tfios will roll in march...deepika said in an interview that she starts bm in march and varun's film with his brother is meant to start in april...i'm confused as to when they'll start shooting

yes, but it's not the only sequence between ranveer and her.. there are a lot of other scenes to be shot..she starts BM shooting in march itself... i think TFIOS shooting would begin around May or June..but Varun could have his scenes shot earlier i guess..where they dont need Deepika.
