Muzammil Ibrahim has backed out of Khatron Ke Khiladi due to some personal reasons, say sources. Delhi lad Harshad Arora, whose show Beintehaa will wrap up on November 21, will be joining the contestants in Cape Town, South Africa. According to sources, "Muzammil backed out by saying that he had to visit Kashmir to meet his ailing grandmother."

However, when contacted, Muzammil, without giving the reason, said, "I was approached but I didn't confirm my participation." Meanwhile, Harshad said, "It will be my reality show debut after my fiction debut.The channel was keen on having me as a participant and it was a rather good deal. I have seen the international version of the show, and I was quite fond of it. Earlier, they wanted me as a wildcard participant, but they offered me a better deal by asking me to participate right from the first episode. It's going to be a test of endurance in the show. I was planning a month's break post Beintehaa, but now that will have to wait."
