Jethalal always does bolti bandh of iyer and bhide.But at home,he is literally a chuha.He is forced to do all sort of things which he doesn't want to do as if he has no choice.

He can't tell sundar that he doesn't want to incur his expenses because it will hurt daya's feelings.

He has to work a lot at home even though he is tired because he is scared of his bapuji.

He has to welcome daya's brother and her mother because he is married to her.

Poor Jethalal!The ultimate bechara!

Society mein Jetha sher hai. Bhide, Popat aur Iyer sabki bolti band kar deta hai.

He is only a sher in front of Bhide and Iyer, actually a pseudo one just because the latter two are modest enough to let go off his irrelevant remarks. They don't wanna bump into him, educated lot that they are. And when sometimes these two retaliate, he recoils most of the times. So, if to be accurate enough, he is not at all a lion but a chuha everywhere. Even Nattu kaka and Bagha befool him and are more courageous than him.
